Bio:
Ibl can't really remember when he got interested in speedrunning, but in early 2012 he decided to start running games himself. He mostly runs indie and/or freeware games, but will on occasion try out some bigger games as well.

At some point in his youth Ibl wanted to become a professional gamer, but that fell through when he didn't want to practice as much as he should have. Maybe it's time to try it again, now that eSports are getting big?

His favourite games are different kinds of FPS and (action) role-playing games.
He possess a twitch account but barely does streaming games.
He also lieks turtles.

With the release of Portal 2, S. wanted to speedrun coop. However, he didn't have someone to run with. Out of frustration S. started running other games, primarily doing scripted Half-Life 2: Episode Two runs. From there it was a small step into other games. he now holds several WR's, most of which are due to lack of competition.

I was one of the guys that sent a particularly blurry pic, so here's a better one (from several years ago though). Possibly it needs to be cropped, the guy on the left has no business in the picture. Grin

Bio: Gamer since a very young age and collectors since 2003. Got interested in speedruns in 2006, when I was introduced to it, on a gamermeetup in Gothenburg, when a couple of collectors were about to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the NES in Sweden. Started with Abadox in 2007, I made my first speedrun, and I kept on improving it. Moved on to other games such as Street Fighter 2010 and Rygar, and I kept on improving and adding more titles to the list of games, I wanted to run through quickly. Like odd and obscure games that the average gamer does'nt play all the time

Website it up again.

Runners/Games still need abit of tweeks. Actually alot, since I haven't updated the sections with attendees yet. But fear not! It's coming!

When the actual marathon starts the front-page will be replaced with a sections with the stream.

Enjoy party people!

The game popups feel awfully small at the moment. Size-wise, I prefered how the game and runner "pages" were set up on the old page, with the info and picture oriented horizontally rather than vertically. I've never been a fan of narrow pages, feels like there's so much wasted screen space on the sides... I really like the main page though.

Also, Rozenkreuzstilette seems to have been mistakenly entered as a race or 2-player run, as it has "Dalfen & Dalfen" as the listed runner. Which would be an interesting thing.

(and is there any actual reason you guys always omit part of my nick)

Game popups: This is because the "inner" images are the thumbnails atm. This will be fixed when I can replace them all with screenshots (which are wider and automagically solves the problem ;))

Dalfen & Dalfen: Known bug. Should be fixed in the next update.

Your nickname. I just took it from the schedule. I can adjust it to KennyMan666 if you want.

Imo, keep the image that on there now. It's one of the bests profile pics on the whole site if you ask me.

Sounds good to me. And yeah, I'd prefer having my full nick written out. Wouldn't mind having that fixed on the schedule as well, I don't know why it was written as only KennyMan in the first place.

And oh god that picture of mine looks bad when blown up in size like that. I'm pretty sure I still have the original much bigger photo that picture was cropped from so I can make one that would look better when sized up - if I were to do that, what resolution should I make it? (unless I find some better recent picture of me but there's not a lot of those around)
Caution: This user contains Kana ^_^
Probably because when talking nobody adds 666 to the damnitman Wink
Also, Firefox scrolling to the wrong place when directed by a #-link seems to be a Firefox-bug.

Finally, Jinny's pic could be made 10,000 times cuter by changing it to the panda one *__* (but that's probably too bad a resolution .__.)

This website is getting absolutely awesome! I love how the game avatars link to the runners and how everything is intertwined now.

One point of criticism, I don't want to be the guy that complains about everything, but I felt this one was a bit too important to let slip.
It's about the slogan, 'the About us' part. As it's the first thing everyone sees, it should at least try to be on target.

The 'About us' message currently says: "Speedrunning is skills, not kills."

At first glance this sounds nice and catchy, but at second glance it's spectacularly incompatible with what we are actually doing. Killing is a major part of speedrunning; think about a random speedrun, chances are you have to kill something to finish it. Quick boss kills are often the most skillful parts of a game.
The current slogan implies that skills and kills are mutually exclusive concepts, which is simply incorrect. As skills and kills go hand in hand in speedrunning, I urge to have a different slogan there that is a more accurate description of what it is that we do.

The rest of the site is 9.5/10. Top stuff!

As I said in the practice thread (yeah I know the wrong place), I made a favicon for the website: http://icedpingu.thepatient.net/ESA/favicon.ico

I think all remarks are updates. (Sorry KennyMan, you are still KennyMan and not KennyMan666)

I have probably missed a few pictures. Just PM me with them again, and I'll sort it out. Enjoy!

That needs to be fixed. I would suggest "will be running" over "is going to be running"

Just a quick thing I have noticed. Not sure if it has been mentioned.

On the schedule. The date at the bottom says Sunday 21th. Should be Sunday 21st. Smiley
Not sure if anyone has noticed this.
