But I don't have poison/fire/bleed. At best I have just poison/bleed because I haven't forged yet (and I can't afford it because Memory Blade needs it later). Poison Bleed is 80% - 62% - 45.8% - 31.22% - 18.098% - ~7% - Dead. This is 7 turns I need to survive, and Saphira will need to be around to reapply bleed. Eragon and Brom can't take the ht, and even if they could I'd probably end up burning a total of 3-4 health potions. I think it's worth a bit of extra running (a total of about 20 seconds) to have a fight where I heal a lot less and keep the tempo up.

Ok, I know I'm probably going to get some shit for this because 1. this thread is old, and 2. people have likely already discovered this, but that guy by teirm docks, the guy named Leroy, I noticed something interesting about him.
When you wake him up to fight him, he says "LET'S DO THIS." And when you beat him, he says "At least I still got chicken."
I think we've all seen LEEEEEEROY JENKINS. He says almost exactly the same thing as in the WoW video. Keep in mind this game is from like 2006, when the vid was EXTREMELY new. When I made that connection like a week ago it felt like my life had come full circle.
Again, dunno if anyone has posted about this, and sorry for necromancy on an old thread, but this is probably one of the best easter eggs I've seen in a GBA game.

Yeah, I didn't get the joke until weeks into routing this thing haha. Thanks for reminding me this game existed by the way.

So I was interested in running Eragon GBA, and I was wondering if anyone actually had any videos of their run/s? I'm working on doing my own routing by having a more optimized route to work off of would be much better. Also sorry for responding to old threads, this is just the only place I've seen real mention of running Eragon

I know this thread is 6 years old... but I just stumbled upon it.

So well... I beat this a long time ago.

Although I had no particular route, I put nothing into magic, giving everyone Endurance, Weapon, Hunting, or Herbal. Magic just seemed too harmful.

Beating Durza by level 70, mainly with judicious use of shells and heals. A lot of them.

However, I had mostly Weapon and Endurance.

Just wanted to put this out there.

I've also beaten Durza at the very beginning, with many hours of farming.
