Hey guys just wondering if anyone here has done a speedrun of Enter the Matrix on PC? I searched around and found a really old thread that I didn't much feel like reviving. Anyways, Myself and a couple of other have been speedrunning this game for around 2 years now and have brought the record from 1:20:00 down to sub 55:00. The game is a complex and satisfying mix of movement tech objective management. It plays out in a third person view and has very smooth controls. The run itself is quite easy to pickup and play, the learning curve is small but very expansive and rewarding for people looking to put effort into it.

The game is separated into 2 runs: Niobe & Ghost - At the moment nobody runs Ghost any% but plans are underway to possibly begin running this category if more people are interested. A large majority of our work on the game has been done for Niobe Any% (Easy) - It's the only category all of us run actively.

We tend to play Any% on hard but some of us have begun to route Hard for added difficulty.

Here is a very old single segment run done on GameCube (We use PC now, Faster load times):

Hey there, yes the run is actually quite easy to pick-up-and-play, also there is still quite a lot to discover for any glitch hunters out there that might read this! Unfortunately the game is not available on steam (That I know of). You will have to purchase a physical copy which shouldn't be too expensive. Or you can pirate it which I don't advise since it's a great game and speedrun and is best played on the original game cd. Smiley

As for the GC/XB/PC differences, it basically boils down to load time. The run on PC saves 10-15 minutes of load times right off the bat, and that's not counting the CD change on GameCube. Not only that but the game runs faster on PC as it's been updated to work with better hardware. Atari released official patches for the game that we use in our runs!
