everybody wanna tell you the meaning of music

Some time has gone by and still the only threads here are translation topics. They certainly belong here, but people might get the impression that this board is just about translation. It's not. You can talk about whatever gaming topics you want. The problem is that anyone who stumbles on this board might be too afraid to post such topics because there aren't any yet. So maybe it wouldn't hurt.

Another thing is that right now all the thread titles are in English. Now that our forum supports foreign characters, maybe it would be a good idea to write the thread titles in the native language.

Once this board is more lively, I can unsticky and lock this thread.

Other languages are cool, we need them.

But I'm a stupid american and don't know other languages. But wait that means I'm patriotic.

I'm so conflicted right now :-[

how is it with new admins for languages? Or better "Subadmins"?
so if people from france, germany or another countries visit this site and need help e.g. to submit a run (i actually could help out in german)? I don't know if there are many who need this kind of help...?

We already have contacts for each translated language, but since they might not respond that quickly, someone who doesn't speak English should make a post and anyone could help. Making specific language moderators for this board like you said is a great idea, but it's a bit early to do this now since there isn't much demand yet. Certainly, as soon as this board gets enough topics to form subboards (like for German), then any subboards would obviously have more appropriate moderators.

Who we list as moderators is mostly a symbolic thing of course. Still can be useful that way though. I do think this board will look better once the listed mods aren't the admins, but like I said there's no reason to change that now.

seems to me, that the majority of topics(that is not saying much in this forum) is in German, which is kinda odd to me, given internet Demographics.
Perhaps some on fluent in Spanish(aka not me) should go advertising on some Mexican websites somehow. because honestly, I know there's a LOT more US and Mexican Spanish only runners then what is known here or at TG.
