Aw mike I wish you would buy a sega genesis. On ebay it's like 10 bucks, and Sonic 2 is around 3 bucks. I would try running it, but free time has never been good to me.

Mainly because I had probs with the person hosting me, so I decided to move elsewhere. Most of the stuff moved to http://www.persona-world.com . The place might not interest people as much now since speedrun related, it only has Castlevania speedruns and a bit of random speedruns rather than every single superplay I can get my hands on.

If you still want a certain superplay up, I can upload it and let it stay for awhile.

Crap, I have to bump this thread because I have something specific to ask Persona.

Are you the one that has all the videos that were on the old site? Because if so, once you said you had 4 RPG gamewave videos, and you made a thread about which 2 to post that about 5 people voted on in time. The winners were 2 I didn't care to see, that were already on http://n.ethz.ch/student/wmartin/ anyway I think. Anyway, I think one of the options was a BoF4 combo video. Could you please post that? Or at least send it to the guy in the site above or something.

Oh and Hitaro, for removing your earlier posts, I have gained new admiration for you. Smiley

Sorry for the late reply, been busy with Mario Kart DS these days. :S

Uploaded the BOF4 vid. One question about the damage though, did it go over 999,999? Since the damage seem to have decreased. I wouldn't know since I didn't play 4. Tongue

Late reply? I was going to commend your quickness, responding in under 24 hours. I mean, you're talking to the guy who has gone AWOL for months before...

Yeah, I can only assume the damage wrapped around, because I have never seen it go that high. It's been years since I've played this game, so I couldn't exactly follow every last detail, but I do recognize some obvious things like Celerity, Faerie Breath, Megaphone, Last Resort, basically a lot of buffs. This is making me remember how cool the combo system was and trying to figure out how to meet all the masters' requirements.

Oh, and yes, Nina is hawt! Although interestingly enough, each iteration progressively less so. We better watch out, she might be an old granny by BoF10. Sad

depends on the country I guess. Dumping your own ROM yourself for private use should be legal anywhere. Downloading it off the net (no matter if you own the cartridge or not) probably isn't.

Sometimes, the hardware to dump the ROM is illegal as well, though the process of dumping it isn't.

Yes; I have the feeling dumping your own ROMs for backup purposes is still illegal in many places, remember the whole music CD backup argument not too long ago?
Also, it's pretty hard to prove that you have backed something up yourself. Hence DRM, which ROMs don't have.
