this category is fairly new. wr right now is 1:08 by AndyPerfect. i dont think he has a video of that run, but he does have a tutorial which is linked in the original post.

I know it's too late to join, but I can't wait to watch! I just picked up this little run as my first speedrun ever, since Earthbound is my favorite game. It's tons of fun, even if Giant Step keeps trolling me.

So, today I learned that the Earthbound Speedrunning community is SUPER RAD. This was only my third day running and a bunch of folks came by to chat! Even more hype for the races now.

We've seeded the groups based on what we've seen on everyones streams and peoples general PB's. We tried to keep it fairly balanced.

Just a quick update since there appears to be some miscommunication going on.

All racers need to schedule a mutual time with their opponent to race each week. There is a tab on the google doc which has assigned the match ups for each week. The process should go something like this:

Step 1: Go to the google doc.
Step 2: Click the "Weekly Match-Ups" tab.
Step 3: Find your name for each week, and see who you are racing.
Step 4: Message that person to schedule a mutual time for a race within the respective week (Twitter, Twitch PM, etc.).
Step 5: Message me here or at twitch.tv/lltemple or on twitter (@drumtone) and tell me when your race is scheduled
Step 6: Race!

If anyone has any questions, pm me here or at the aforementioned sources.

I'm concerned about being on time for the 6pm start time. For some reason I thought it was at 7PM, which is infinitely easier for me to make as it's the 1 year old's bed time.

Congrats to DanielRGT on his win. Great tournament for him and his times were exceptional towards the end. Thanks to RPG Limit Break for hosting the final four and lltemple for putting in the administration work.
