Hey guys...

I've found 3 ways of doing the ER on e4m2 faster.

1) Getting a better boost from the shambler. (is it possible to be smashed by his hands instead?)

2) Getting a better boost from the ogre in the turn right after the crushing thingy...If you walk passed him and jump after he has been attacking you for a really shot while, you will get a much higher speed.

3) Do the jump to the exit in one single turn. i.e. don't stop to get new speed. I've done this and i tell you, it saves almost a second!

Tell me what you think about these ideas and if you want to see demos on any of these tricks, just tell me.

Hey Ho Let's Go
Just beat the current record, will ya!  Wink
Nah, not possible Smiley
(I hope)
Heh...I can't do it! Im not fast enough.... But it is possible! You want demo on the end of the map? You'll see that it's much faster!
the better curl at the end isn't very hard... in fact I find it easier to do it in one motion than to do the stop-start trick like in both the current records. But it only saves about half a second. Getting a 28 is very possible but it will take some mean bunny skills through the rest of the map.

... Kay??  Grin

also, I think the shambler boost in Martin's demo is about as fast as it can be done...

Here are demos on the 3 improved tricks. Have a look and you'll se clearly that it can be improved.  Wink

(You have to copy and paste the above url cuz geocities sux)
You don't seem to be faster than Martin in ER after the shambler boost. What's the improvement here?
Anyway - the demos are very interesting
Hey Ho Let's Go
The curl trick at the end should definitely bring the time down to 0:28  Smiley
Well...I didn't run as fast as him, I just wanted to show that one can do that boost a bit faster and also go the other way around the knights to save some time...Not much, but all together they might save enough.
OK Smiley
I wonder why Martin didn't pass the knights the way you do. Maybe you have to gain time from the earlier shambler boost
Yes probably.
