When using my DVD Recorder you can burn things to DVD by "archiving" them.  The problem is that when I do this the DVD will play find on the DVD recorder but not in my computer.  My computer just reads the DVD as a blank disc.

WTF???

Fucking Weeaboo
If your DVD recorder (which you added the items on) is reading it and your DVD burner not, I bet 10 Double Dollars that you didn't finalize the disc.
Yep, sounds like you're not finalizing, though you'd think that's what "archiving" does. I hope we don't have to pull out isobuster. Tongue
Speed is the key.
Finalizing? What's that?
Fucking Weeaboo
Finalizing is the process that "closes" a disc, making it readable to all players.

I noticed that with mine, the classification of my DVDs go from something like DVD-RW(V) to DVD-ROM.

Same here (DVD-ROM), although I've never finalized them...

If I didn't do it without knowing, that is. Roll Eyes

Yeah I don't know what finalizing is.:-p

guess it's time to figure it out.:-p

EDIT: Yeah that worked.:-p

EDIT: Now if only I could figure out how to edit these movies in order to cut out the loading screens for youtube....I'm useless.
... oO;
First convert them to AVIs (read the FAQ) and then open the AVIs in VirtualDub. Press "Home" on your keyboard when you are on the first frame you want taken off, and "end" when you are on the last frame you want taken off. Press delete, and those frames should be long gone.
