Gamer and stitcher
Well, I'm not exactly sure where to stick this but if it's real, this looks amazing!  Someone is remaking the Duck Tales game according to this announcement video!  I know it's a huge favorite of marathons so I thought I'd post it.  Could be a lot of fun!

Moving this to the gaming discussion board, as these boards are for speed run planning threads.

As far as I've heard it's indeed real, but the company remastering it is Capcom, who, eh, has had a wee bit of a reputation problem lately. Or so I've heard.

I recommend waiting a few weeks until after release before considering whether or not it's worth getting.

Capcom is publishing.  Wayforward is doing the development work, but they do have a bit of a mixed track record themselves.  They're the developers of Shantae, A Boy and His Blob (Wii), and Double Dragon Neon.

All I really have to say is

WOO-OO!

I've played a grand total of 0 of those games. Well, I'd still be wary, even though I don't need to be, since I don't have access to any of the stated platforms it'll apparently be released on (Wii U, PSN and X-Box Live).
Fucking Weeaboo
Kotaku has a video of somebody that was live streaming a section of Transylvania. The game looks better than the original NES game since the boss battles appear to be somewhat of a challenge. Plus it sounds like the original voice actors from the cartoon are in (which is amazing, given Scrooge and Magica's VAs are in their 90s!). I'm confident that this game is gonna be good.
I'm really hyped for this.. Maybe a bit too much. But hey, that's what happens when you speedrun the original.

Shantae 1 is a-f'ing-mazing, Shantae 2 is still kinda good.  If nothing else, WayForward has a knack for picking cool old IP to play with, although I myself have yet to play any of their reboots.
