As many people said, one of the biggest problems is that the mu island can't be done as the first level to optimise the route. In these conditions, we can't expect a "tas like" run. But this run is pretty short so an overall good quality is needed.
First of all I didn't see anything strange about the continuity, and the quality of the video seems good enough for a verifying nes video. I only noticed some slow downs which are due to the nes.

not a tas so we can see few jumps which are not perfect. Is it really impossible to side jump and make a side shot at the same time ?
I'm not sure that the first damage is necessary...
I don't even remember if you can join the last platform without pogojumping on the boat. If it's possible, these few seconds could be optimised.

little bit slow in a ring at the second boat.
why do you jump when you need to go down after the piece of the treasure map ? sigh
Nearly perfect mechanisms...
Did you catch the first rope after the skill? It's really fast
Once more perfect boss as far as I can see.
Desert :
I really hate this big treasure!
At the first mechanism (the one to the hidden map piece) are you limited by the last jump ? I think that is the reason why you waited so much...

The boss can be done a little bit faster I think.
MU
You jump at the totem which is useless... But you don't loose more that 1/10 sec
U take two damages which slow you down a bit.
Definitively not the best boss I see for this level but it's good enough if we consider his randomness.
Dracula house
Nothing before the map. Just after, a hand blocks the chain to the upper level. Won't it be better to wait and not pogo jump before ?
The hidden stage seems really stupid when you go this way... Just nothing to do.
Last stage is always stupid... When I think that I had already lost at this stage when I was young... Last hit at 19:27
So it's overall a good run with only a few mistakes. This one should be probably optimised but the golem wasn't too much unlucky. I accept the run.

Sorry for a delay again. My plan was to play this game some before doing the verification. I never got the time to sit down. I can not even remember the secret level. But as I can tell, the run looks great and everything should be possible to do on a console and all that, with this much luck. The quality of the video looks OK too.
