Seeing as I'm having trouble getting my newer capture card working in Virtual Dub (the one that arrived today), can anyone assist me with that and with getting the same quality video results from DScaler.

I can't seem to get the bugger to firstly record in 720x576 (for full screen PAL), instead it auto records in 720x480  Roll Eyes and won't let me alter it before capture.

Secondly, I can't use the scripts ballofsnow gave me that worked amazingly with VDub, so I don't know how to get the same quality out again.

Any and all help with this would be greatily appreciated. Smiley

shouldn't matter which program you capture in really ... just load the same capture file in the avisynth script and encode away in vdub. as for selecting the resolution, it's possible there's no way to do it from inside vdub, but have you tried video menu: capture pin (while in capture mode)?
