I have it ! sub 2h45 ===> http://www.twitch.tv/silvius78/c/3559061

Done with Nier costume

I have done 2 big mistake in great desert (messed up the glitch 2 time in a row) but the run is pretty solid , sum of my best split is 2:39:11 so its improvable
And i forgot to equip the Nier long sword at the beginning.....

Alright, I can confirm what the DLC costumes do, if anyone is interested.
It looks like Caim's could be useful, but the other costumes are useless for speedrunning.

Edit: Caim's costume was a pre-order exclusive before but is now available for everyone on the JP PSN
Edit 2: I got this from the person who is in charge of a DOD3 fan-website, I asked her to be more precise in her translation for Eris' costume (I should get an answer shortly) as it sounds like you never run out of stamina EVEN while guarding? I don't know, the wording is weird.
Edit3: Yep, it was a mistake, here's what she wrote me back about Eris' costume: " I should have rephrased that. Typically when you guard and thusly get attacked, your SP will decrease by about 1/3. If you continue to hold the guard position without replenishing your SP, it will eventually run out and you will lose HP if you continue to get hit.

However, when you have Eris’ costume equipped, your SP will not decrease ONLY IN GUARD MODE. It’s not an infinite SP saver. So, basically, you can guard for however long you like and not receive any damage!"

Caim’s Costume:
Cost of SP attacks is cut in half

Kaine’s Costume:
Time to execute counter attacks is doubled

Nier’s Costume:
5% damage increase dealt to enemies

Furiae’s Costume:
5% damage decrease received from enemies

Manah’s Costume:
20% healing power increase to all items

Eris’ Costume:
(fixed) SP does not decrease while guarding

Hum the caim one should be useful for Act 1 (when you dont have acces to the WSG and you spamming long jump with G.sword)  but Nier one is definitely the best for speedrunning
Meteor Swarm
got the input for thoses infinite dash/alike glitch ?.
Most WSG combos do it, because they all give you infinite SP. The most common one we use is Sword onto lance.
Yeah Rezard just use sword into lance its the best deal mobility/damage output

the input is triangle then R1 really fast and when you messed up your glitch just use the same combinaison with the fist
Hm I discovered something interesting :

The DLC give you weapon with costume , and on this set of weapon there is one spear and chakram  , when you have the dlc you have acces to the "category' of those weapon earlier cause you have the DLC weapon , and you can WSG earlier too (chap 1-2 instead of chap 2-1) , also DLC weapon require 0G to be upgraded but its not that powerful compared to the ingame weapon i take during my route

I will try to improve my run with this little trick , seem really interesting
Its certainly seeming like all the time savers are coming back to the DLC now. I got my PB to 2:40:00, but I definatly think sub 2:30:00 is possible, then we can move to the full game.

In other news, my submission of Drakengard 3 for SGDQ got rejected. Oh well, maybe next time.
2:40:00 you beated me , i need to rerun now :3

Yeah i think 2:30:00 is possible too , did you have the VOD of your PB ?
All the things

Considering the game isn't even out in NA yet, I wouldn't be discouraged. Give it a shot again for AGDQ.
I am intrigued by the weapon swap glitches and will start trying them out.  There seem to be pretty decent combinations to go through, my question is, would some of the chest weapons be worth the detour to increase damage?  I haven't started routing myself yet and I wanted to come up with a basic route before collaborating, but would anyone be interested in a list of all chests and weapons?  I just finished up my walkthrough on GameFAQs with a basic outline of everything in the game, though I intended it for a slightly more casual audience.  There's also the weapon's guide by Zmuggernaut that's got a list of every weapons combo list.

Also, I noticed when playing through again for my walkthrough that if you save up all the money from the chests, you have just enough gold to buy most if not all of the weapons, likely only needing to do a few Accord missions to get the remainder.
