Kart for SMK, and Seven for FF7.
Hey !

I sent my run one month ago and it still needs verifiers ! Please help me to see my video added to SDA. Smiley The run is short (less than 6 minutes), it could be a motivation to go for it ! Grin
I started looking into the NTSC-U version the other day. I've done most of the routing, but a few details are sure to be added as I get more into the game. I have at least started to do some attempts. On literally my first recorded attempt, I completed the game in 0:08:55. It's normally not something I would upload, but the Singe fight was really exceptional and will be hard to match. So it will be a good benchmark of how fast the fight can be done with very good RNG. I think if everything else had gone flawlessly, this would have gone under the 8 min mark or at least very close to it. Right now, I'm more aiming for something around 0:08:15, which would still require good cooperation from Singe and a good performance elsewhere as well.

I didn't expect to complete an attempt so soon, so some of the route choices were things I was just trying out. I'll start documenting the routes and more in the near future. For now, I have just created the page in the knowledge base.

I've been improving on my routes by a lot since my last post and earlier today got a very good time of 7:33. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVDO3ac1rDQ

The levels were improvable, but the Singe fight was even faster than last time. Even though the run looks a bit rough in a few spots, it's going to take a bit of effort to get similar Singe RNG again on a good attempt. I'll be going for it though.
I just got a 7:21, thanks to an absurdly good Singe fight (16 puffs, which I ended with a forward attack to top it off). There is one ugly execution mistake (1.5 sec) that I could have done without and a few areas that could have been improved by getting very lucky. But this run is all about the Singe fight. Even with perfect execution and perfect luck elsewhere, you would still need a very good Singe fight to come close to this time. I'm gonna settle with this run for now, but if new information shows that some of the "luck" events can be manipulated, I might be back for more.
