If I am able anyone is able to watch it a few times then run threw the course and beat your time in one sitting, the it is too slow (I did this with 1 of the SPO IL).

In response to Hex, I wouldn't know. I haven't been on that game in the longest time, and have no knowledge of improved route runs for any map outside of USA 1 ( and even with knowing the USA 1 short cuts I haven't attempted the new route.) But to put it in perspective, I of no help as the last time I extensively  played USA 3 is back when my 49.5 was the WR, and it has come a long way since then. In my opinion, Motiak is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to DCC route running and technicality, The only map I can help with is USA 5, which to my knowledge has only been slightly beaten by one person, and that time was like a 57.048, so If you want tips on that map, I'd be glad to help, It'd be cool to see someone have the records that still enjoys the game.

Someone is gonna have to do a USA 5 run as I am horrid when it comes to that level. Can't do it to save my life. It's all because of the end bit >.< I've tried practising, and I cannae do it.

If I can beat 49.2, or even better, 49, I'll keep that for a submission.

Yep, the ending to USA 5 altogether is arguably one of the hardest shortcuts in the game, but for USA 3 from what i can understand, you might want to get your times down to low 49. or high 48, because I'm not sure if anyone who used to play is even in practice anymore so to speak, but I don't talk to any DCC speed runners  anymore, so i couldn't tell you for certain. I would just keep mapping out the level on individual parts, because when i played it at least, It seemed I was learning new mechanics about the game on a daily basis. I'm not sure what the top time is now, but if i had to guess it would probably be a low 48, so you have your work cut out for you, hope you enjoy playing it, because its gonna be tough, lmao.

As far as I know, I have the 3rd fastest time, Stressin being first, then Motiak, then me.

I'm not sure about non legit times though, because I only consider times legit that are recorded, and I'm the second fastest recorded time, but I know that Always Stressin has beating Motiak because Motiak said somehting like it in the description of his USA 3 video.

I think it's actually me, then Detaiil then Stressin.  The comment on my video is pretty old.  Neither of them ever put up any real videos though.  I haven't looked in a while but I'm pretty sure if you tighten up how you do the beginning of the level then you should have a low 49 easy.

Melan only has like a 49.1 or something like that on USA 3.  As far as the beginning goes, I would say you took too long climbing the chain at 13 seconds on your video which made your slide down the next hill a little slower and then you jumped too soon out of the slide which put you up too high on the next hill which made your slide down the next hill slower as well.

Ah, I see.

I've been thinking that the part I was losing the most speed on was at the three pistons in a row before the paintball guns, and right at the end on the rope.

It's hard to tell speed difference later on in the run but you can put our runs side by side and see where you fall behind near the beginning.

Yeah, I did that. I think that the rope at the end is a HUGE issue. If there is a way we could do it faster, it would be amazing, because it seems to slow us all down so much.

And yeah, you're right. My start does need fixing.

I just don't think there's a much faster way to do the rope.  I've tried going on the tread mills beneath it but they really slow you down since they're backwards ones.
