Fireballs are a real pain during void dragon since they can screw you really quick with burn or remove invisibility. 1 fps isn't too interesting also :\.

Reinstalled, loaded the save, it still crashes. I don't understand what's going on.

Meh. Guess I'll be looking forward to seeing a nice run from you, cause it doesn't seem like this game will let me speedrun it. Such a shame.
So, I'm not an expert speedrunner (I view it more as a spectator sport, honestly)  but it seems to me that you should be able to do the OOBS thing with the teleport pyramid glitch.  (Put a pyramid in a container on one map, and it seems like if you use the pyramid in another map, it transports you to similar coordinates)

That's pretty sexy arkenian, makes doing the last part a lot easier Smiley

Also makes routing the game a lot more interesting, especially with Incara rescue.

Doesn't look like you can directly get to first garden in 1 go from setting up a pyramid from another zone since homestead has a larger width (x axis) than the other zones. But it cuts out a lot of the fluff to get into first garden from OOBs Smiley

Did a bit more routing today, you can get to almost all the major areas around Cyseal North Gate and using zone pyramid teleports.

As for the void dragon fight you don't need to worry about the minions since we can drop large wine barrels and they'll overlap with characters standing too close. This will block LOS and pathing for AI. So setting one for yourself and one for Astarte will let you survive and do the fight quickly. This also trivializes companions other than a method to heal through the bombarding fire balls.

Thanks kuschelpuh for the tip about rotation of barrels matter before dropping them again.

So ideally you would use 3 barrels.

Looking through the route there is 5 fights, 4 with Wine Barrels (King Boreas, Cassandra / Arhu, Trife, Void Dragon), since these fights are pretty much in enclosed areas, you can prep them by Cyseal North Gate and have both characters mobile.

Lone Wolf + Glass Cannon at 7 speed, 8 Con will give you 17 max ap and 18 ap per turn. Pretty hefty amount to work with.

Finished a run today, 42:41. I went with Arhu kill so there's 1 less overhead with extra teleports / shovel for Cassandra. Also avoided homestead OOBs since first time I did it, it took half an hour from the fps drop :|.

That's a really cool method of transportation, indeed. Makes setups for box carrying a lot easier, I bet.

A number of remarks:
1. You never use sprint?
2. You never use the fireball scrolls? They could make the first fight a lot easier and faster, possibly mixed with barrel throwing.
3. Expeditious Retreat not worth it over 2 points TK, I presume?
4. You should probably find a good place to level up whilst moving.
5. The Boreas fight looks really clunky this way. Might be worth just entering the fight with both characters and risking the frozen state, just to kill him in one turn and avoid the problems with summons. (By the way, Shards have like 1 hp, you can just smack them to kill them.)
6. Should also be a better way to do the fire demon fight, I never had him stand there paused for so freaking long.

That's about it, that and more practice so you stop wasting time on dialogues and positioning stuff.
Boreas fight was bad, usually want to kill him before he gets a turn but missed twice.
Fire demon fight I forgot to move the barrel back further before the turn ended, otherwise the AI would freak out and do nothing until their timer ended.

The only place I can think of to get free and quick experience is from sacred stone, then one from the swamp house which would get you to 9 at the end.
I mean spending your points while moving instead of standing still while allocating them, just an easy way to save time.

Yeah, easily forget to pump stats from time to time. Best time would probably be at running to Arhu / Cassandra or at the Swamp since before then it wouldn't matter enough AP wise. I would still prefer glass cannon at during first fight of void dragon since that leaves you at max health even if you were hit with random fireballs.

Mixing Oil Barrel and fire ball does 1 shot, thanks. Keep forgetting about these scrolls since those 2 runs are the only times I ran with wizards.
Oh neat you can plant a teleport stone on an NPC while pick pocketing and use the NPC as a pyramid storage, I wonder if there's an NPC that's relevant enough throughout a run to make it worth while.
