You can kill the Raalzen Ax'aroth ( fire demon guy ) with throwables, he's pretty fat but staying stealth and tossing things back and forth outside of his FOV is pretty quick.

Void Dragon and Trife does get hurt by throwables also. Now just to find a quick way to get there.

Homestead and the final boss area is on the same zone map. So there probably is a way to get there OOBs.
...Okay, so... I rushed straight to the phantom forest. Killed Raazen with a wine barrel. Entered the temple.

Game crashed. :C
If you skip saving Icara, you have to fight her sister, death knights and trife at the end.
The important question is, what quest(s) do we need to complete to get the game not to crash on entering the temple. Unless you actually found that oob route, in which case I'd have to find a new wine barrel and some source of experience required.

Looks like you can get to the void dragon when you first get both pyramids, location is at ~900, ~150. It still lags terribly when OOBs here, so it's taking a while to check.
Can you record the route, like the spot you go oob and such?

Video won't do much good when the game gets to less than 1 fps when going OOBs on flat terrain. south east side of the walkable homestead is a inactive teleporter, toss your pyramids out on the side to first get OOBs then off the skewed terrain. continue heading east.

Found out why it lags so much, when hovering over the game space, it's trying to determine what your mouse is hovering over to get information, but since we're out in no where it'll keep on going really far down since the maps are made really tall. Hovering over UI button or label, using a skill or anything else would stop that fps drop.
Well, I guess that's this game broken, then. Level up a character to 4 points Telekinesis, pick up the wine barrel in cyseal inn, travel oob to the void dragon place and throw him to death. So silly.

No kidding on that 1 fps thing. It gets even worse for me when I get near one of those walls, it becomes impossible to even progress.
Strength doesn't look like it's needed as long as you have at least 1 telekinesis to snag a wine barrel or 4. Probably be glass cannon, speed and con to get through any of the fights.

I made it over to the First Garden area from pure level 1.

The Trife and Void Dragon fights won't spawn. I dunno if I have to trigger the gate for them to do so, as I wasn't able to get through or around that gate. Sad

e: Alright, I got up on the other side. Being forced to kill Leandra is a real pain there, what a shame :/

I got another idea for that but I'll find out if it helps.

e: Oh cool I softlocked the game. Don't have one character in a conversation that leads to combat, and the other cause that combat through friendly fire. :>

I see :\, it'll probably trigger a fight with death knights since we don't have icara saved. So we might have to save her unless we want to get to the mines and grab the spell from the mangoth.

So interesting thing, while in a conversation, pawns that are talking to each other can't be harmed.

Yeah, that's the problem.

I just managed to kill Leandra before the fight started, but the death knights still aggro and still have to be killed. So the only chance we'd have to kill her early is, well, killing her early. I wonder if taking a third party member could let you attack her while opening the gate?

If you're gonna investigate saving Icara, try doing the early Temple strat and see if that's the flag we need to not crash there. Boreas should be easy to kill with barrel tossing.

I did that all ready and didn't crash going only to the source temple and Trife* by killing everything with booze. Would it be faster to just grab the spell for death knights compared to rescuing Icara? Since you can get the blood quickly, spell on the other hand is tedious going through the mines.

I think the death spell would be easier to get, since getting to boreas requires at least one extra fight to get the rift spell item, but I'm not sure if getting the death spell would even help making the Leandra fight feasible.
You can block her LoS with wine barrels then she won't be able to summon.

Did some testing with reloading while a character is in dialogue, both character and npc in dialogue will lose their invulnerability and can be killed. Doing this at Trife without leandra will be normal as long as Astarte has a turn (not entirely sure if she needs it, but if Trife dies before when the fight starts the game softlocks and astarte does nothing). Doing this with Leandra will cause the death princes to enter a fight unless you move them out of the way with teleport, but Astarte will stand at her spawn point waiting for the death princes to die. I wonder if she'll move if we made a barricade to her next position, forcing her to only move in one path, then seal her at the next point with wine barrels to keep her alive during void dragon. Moving her manually to her next position doesn't cause the void dragon to spawn, she has to move there herself :\.

Destroying the god box does nothing.

I'm curious if it's possible to kill Leandra early from another side quest would affect the death princes from spawning, I'll have to test this another day.

This does make any story fight rather quick since the enemy will not be able to do anything while in a dialogue. So toss more stuff or use a crossbow for animation canceling for quick kills.

Breaking the seasons staff at the forge you can avoid that fight by breaking it during dialogue, if you try to steal the blood stone before the dialogue ends, everyone gets stunned until it's finished. Afterwards you can get someone behind the enemies and toss stuff til they die. They'll remain standing after they die and are unable to be attacked with 0 hp.
Such a shame the leandra cutscene at the end of time disables all your spells. Would make everything a lot simpler if we could kill her in there.
Astarte just needs to spawn in completely before killing completeing Trife battle for her to move on. Someone noted using Lava Core can kill void dragon really quickly, I haven't found this scroll in any shop yet to be sure. Reloading for 10 minutes netted nothing so that's a bit sad.
I'm having enough trouble even getting into Hiberheim. The white witch mushrooms can be thrown to death but the group of Immaculates before the lake seem to be immune to throw damage, and it's gonna take a lot more than just two fireball scrolls to clear them out.

So from Loic's basement you can get OOBs with a pyramid bottom right of that room by the ladder. From there leave a character OOBS. Have one go to 480, 390 to get the blood. Going north west you can get to the trolls to dark forest, instead of heading to dark forest you can get to a decent cliff spot to drop onto the mine.

Right side of the leandra's blood room with 2 bookcases you can clip a pyramid through.

Doing mines quickly will probably require having all non essential members be at 1 hp to kill them quickly after picking up the spell while the main guy heads to the exit with invisibility to avoid the 2 orcs outside.

Void Dragon takes 50% damage from crushing, so a bag at 957.57 does 479. This bag weight will 2 turn void dragon, so getting more would be nice. Putting a wine barrel to block his LoS to Asarte will cause him to only spawn minions and not cast his breath spells.

Doing this fight while fire balls are being bombarded is really annoying.. so avoid going to dark forest before starting the fight.

Going Icara route would require you to get to dark forest to get soul forge spell otherwise you'll still have to fight the death princes.

From the graveyard dungeon, heading directly north will take you to the old church, not entirely sure if this is faster than running directly to silverglen but you can avoid a lot of fights from this path. A lot slower.
Is all that OOB really necessary? With some expeditious retreats and invisibilities you can just run to the cathedral and get the blood the ordinary way, skipping every fight. Not sure how much of the mines can be easily done with your level 3 dudes.
The path from loic is pretty short, also allows you to collect supplies to do fights later on quicker, also it leaves you between the mines and the cathedral so swap between characters to do both at the same time.
But one character should be overburdened with barrels. Unless you intend to skill them 10 points strength instead of speed for pack mule.

By the way, are you looking into it becoming a segmented or SS run? Cause for SS, I'd much rather have one guy with 8 dex doing all of the invisibility skipping, the failure rate at 5 dex is just awful.
Single Segment, haven't done runs yet. Mainly looking into the game between breaks.

Yeah I don't even know a route from start to finish yet. I'd like it to be single-segment viable, since this game barely has any RNG aside from status effects and fumbles which we can easily work around.

Remove Death Knight Invulnerability requires level 12 to learn. There's no way you're gonna reach that quickly.

I also messed around with the Leandra cutscene in the mines, but she either stuns everyone in the area, or she softlocks. Haven't found any way to harm her.
