I think the elevator is easier because it has a lot of conflicting hit boxes at the top. Sometimes I go up and land under where I wanna be, then I jump up.
That's amazing Also can anyone tell me about how many potions I'm supposed to have at the beginning of every mission, or ending of a mission or something just to kind of figure out where I'm at at a moment, because I actually don't know

this is a good guide on the any% route http://www.twitch.tv/fripic/b/522186549. Besides that, you are probably going to have to memorize it. If you don't know if you should blink, just be conservatitve with your mana. You'll learn the mana route eventually.
I've played it a lot though but got very confused the other day when I was a whole mana pot down and got screwed over and lost a pb on dunwall tower. So I was just hoping there was a definitive number to look for
It is possible to skip the jump at the beginning of flooded. I wonder how fast you could do this. Is it possible to do this faster? http://imgur.com/a/HThdR
Heyaaaaah guys, wassup. I just started my Dishonored again, practising some of the any% stuff. and found some strats, that might be interesting.
First. At Lady Boyle, doing the save scumming shenanigans can be optimized by just blinking towards the room where the note should be in and then saving. It's Minor but it saves the time you look at the stupid painting and run towards the note.
Second, (something i saw in Sloth's stream the other day) there is a way to do the Samual swag drop in High overseer Campell mission without bouncing on his head.
You simple collide with his Model from the side, which makes you kind of slide down on him (LEWD) and land safely
Also, i am too stupid to embed videos on this board...

If you don't get perfect Boyle would this lose time because you have to go and get the mana pot?
Hey just wanted to ask.. what do you use to measure FPS? Because I've followed the instructions here, even replaced my .ini with the ones people posted here, but FRAPS still shows 60 to me. Apparently there's a difference between in-engine character frames and FPS overall, though, or something like that?
If you just replace you .ini with someone else's, the "ini version" at the bottom of the file doesn't match and the game automatically sets everything back to standard. You either have to copy the ini version from your file and paste it into the new one or change the settings manually in your ini. Fraps should show the correct fps.
Also have you made sure you've disabled Vsync in game? With Vsync on the fps will match the refresh rate of your monitor (usaully 60)
160 should be enough for the two in the prologue, but you'll need about 200 to get high enough for the big one in prison. There are alternate strats, including a smaller but slower elevator glitch, if you end up not reaching that.
