y was not to hard i was playing at a wrong game speed i fixt it and do a run so

WR: 3:53:45,80 Video:http://de.twitch.tv/jinzo92/b/340590343
I've always assumed that you can recruit Frigimon by getting sick with moldy meat/ not sleeping, but yesterday I found that this is not true :/

So I included Angemon in the route, since Garurumon can enter Ice Sanctuary, and he can learn Ice Statue there.

Also, does anybody know if Seadramon can teach you Ice statue? I can skip Angemon and get Kokatorimon instead.
How hard is catching Seadramon with the old rod?
Accords to game faqs  http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/913684-digimon-world/faqs/58057    , ice statue can be learn from Coelamon, Devimon, Frigimon, Garurumon,
Shellmon, Whamon, Megadramon, Megaseadramon, Skullgreymon
why u saying that need to learn ice statue?  Its so OP?  sry noob question..just curious Smiley
hey guys got with normal speed a time 4:38 something but! i change my route:
i go for the earlyes monzaemon i tryd it and it looks so awsom im now at F.town with a time about 2:30 only have to do is drimogemon and ninjamon and! i faild at monochromon 4 times so this makes my digimon evolve too early so i have to fight with numemon against the blue digimon otamamon i think in the swamps so i could do something about 20-30 min without monochromon bad luck so i think i keep this route up seems fery fast!

Eddalius: It takes 1-2 minutes more than using the amazing rod, but it's not hard. Getting amazing rod would take much longer.

Kellerpg: Ice Statue is OP, yeah. It speeds up the last battles in the run a lot. These digimon you listed are the ones that can learn Ice Statue. You can learn it from every digimon in Ice Sanctuary (except ice Ogremons), IceDevimon in Freezeland and MoruShellmon in Misty Trees.

What I'm asking is, when you catch Seadramon and ask him to teach you a technique, can he teach you Ice Statue? I believe he can only teach skills that a Seadramon would learn (so no Ice Statue), but I'm not sure.

jinzo92: Nice time! Do you have other options than monochromon? I'm guessing you get him with your second digimon right? He's too random to get him late in the run.
if u catch it u can learn a random whater move till u get all of em so yea u can learn it by catching seadramon
You can only learn Seadramon moves I believe. That excludes ice statue.
no i was able to learn every 1 as i want to go for the 100% complet with all techs and medals he teaches me all whater moves
Ich möchte diesen Teppich nicht kaufen.

Seriously though, understandable. I'm gonna practise on my PS2 later today, see if I can beat my times completely.
again THX 4 helping me an another questin do anybody now how exactly get Leomon i was trying it by ask jijimon he says i have 42 pp after this i go to the drimogemon he was not finished yet i was going to leomon to trigger the cutscene was after this going to drimogemon nothing hes not finishd yet so this is my Q how exactly! what to trigger perhaps how much days to wait and stuff
You need 45 PP for Leomon.
mh ok that would explain much things in every video playthrough or FAQ they say 40 and i have in mind that i was 40pp so thx 4 that
I did some NTSC practise this morning. The game is generally faster and the poop timings are different. This is going to be interesting to adapt to.

Jinzo92, Well, I've seen that already follow my path to get first Numemon, thankfully, because otherwise you can not make the right WR

Soooo I've finished a kind of solid route, it's not the same as the one I posted a few months ago, and I'm sure it's slower, but much more safe as a marathon/race route. The only thing that's still not reliable is Ice Statue, I don't know an average number of battles that would be needed to learn it.

The route summarized:

this is not right look at the 4h vodeo of mine it was without fast monzimon and otherwise i now this route with the fast monzimon so
animalkya
Yes, but that it took you 3:53 is the fastest monzimon. Good, because you can only do the fastest run well. Anyway, soon you'll win, because I have other shortcuts that you'll see when you upload the video.
so guys im going for a run at i think 22:00 gmt+1 perhaps later or earlyer if you want to race tipe it in and yor time if not well then i do a normal run

I'll stream a run tonight (http://es.twitch.tv/ffoxt), probably around 12-1am (gmt+1). I have a completely new route that I want to try.

I'm ok for a race, let's see if we can get 3-4 people at least Smiley

edit:
Got a 3:45:48 run: http://es.twitch.tv/ffoxt/b/341250381

I had too many mistakes and terrible luck overall. I think that sub-3 hours might be possible with this route.
4 attempts on Monochromon. I'm definitely dropping him for next runs ¬¬
I planned to get Mamemon and Ninjamon, but ended skipping the first because he wouldn't show up (It was practice anyway, I'd reset in a proper run)
So I had to improvise a lot of stuff, because I needed Mamemon to get Ninjamon, messed up the hour timings, and I also found a game-breaking bug (if you don't fight drimogemon before recruiting ogremon, leomon and meramon become unobtainable).
Two useful facts:
- Seadramon does give 2 PP, and he appears after you talk to Jijimon, if you have >20 PP (same way as Greymon appear with >15 PP)
- You need 3200 bits for Monochromon, not 3000

The route summarized:
Digimon used: Agumon->Numemon->Monzaemon

Day 1: Agumon, Kunemon, Centarumon, Betamon, Coelamon
Day 2: Bakemon, Money Trick
Day 3-4: rest to reach day 5 asap
Day 5: Monzaemon, Kokatorimon, Gabumon
Day 6: Sukamon, Biyomon, Patamon, Elecmon, Mamemon, Unimon, Greymon, Ninjamon, Piximon
Day 7: Shellmon, Birdramon, Frigimon, Whamon, Palmon, Seadramon, Kabuterimon, Kuwagamon, Ogremon, Leomon
Day 8: Mt Infinity
