Hey everyone. I searched the forums for other topics related to this, but didn't find anything, so I am making this post.
I just picked up this Diamond VC500 capture device (http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-VC500-Touch-Capture-Device/dp/B000VM60I8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380266706&sr=8-1&keywords=Diamond+VC500) in hopes to stream on OBS a little better, but unfortunately I have run into some audio problems. The video quality is quite nice, though.
So, when I have the audio plugged in directly to the device, it works fine in the recording software that comes with the Diamond VC500 (EzGrabber), but when loading it directly into OBS the audio is no longer picked up, strangely.
After that, I decided to get an RCA audio to line-in jack converter, and run it directly to the computer. Well, now the audio comes in clean, but there is about a 500ms delay to the audio (e.g. - The audio is 500ms later than the video). If it were the other way around, it would be an easy fix, I could just delay the audio 500ms, but delaying it in the negative direction doesn't work. I have tried troubleshooting solutions for Windows 7 described here:

To no avail. I have also read that someone solved this issue by installing the old Vista drivers, but I am not sure if that's the best idea... Besides, I have no idea where to get the old vista drivers. My audio related specs are:
ASUS P8 Z68M Pro Motherboard (line-in jack uses Realtek High Definition)
Windows 7 64 bit
Default Speaker device is my TV (Sony with Nvidia High Definition Audio) --> The only time I ever experience audio delay is when playing from Line-In.
I am not interested in using screen capture as this provides some other problems. With this capture device, I was unable to use "screen capture" to get a usable video stream (it was just a black frame). I also tried to game capture with no success. Sooo, using AmarecTV would be fine if I were just recording it to my PC, but my intention is to stream it. I am also not interested in using Xsplit, as this decreases the frame rate abysmally while encoding/streaming.
Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thank you for your time.
