Here is some info about the corrupt save/ convo save glitch.
It is a very versatile glitch. Loading the convo save a different points can create different kinds of effects.

- If you load the save while someone is talking to you on the infolink, it will end the communication (seems like most of you understand this use already).

- If you try to walk into the area where you created the glitch bad things happen. First you probably won't be able to go in there, you will just get some blue text on your screen.  After that you will notice that you can't move quickly anymore. You will have 99% damage mitigation, your skills will be reset, and your augmentations just go away. Not a good idea for a speed run.

- If you load it elsewhere, it will reset the maps adjacent to the one you are currently in. For example if you are in Hell's Kitchen and you use it and then you walk into the 'Ton, it will reset the 'Ton. All items should reappear. This trick seems to work for the Aug canister in Paul's room, but not the one in Osgoods. You can very easily load up on napalm canisters though if you choose to go through the ally, which will save you the hassle of picking it up in the mole people tunnels.

- If you load it immediately after you enter a new area, it will prevent the map from loading properly. For example: if you load the save right as you enter the cell in the MJ12 base, you will not lose your items. Open your inventory first before you load the save though, so it doesn't get all jumbled. You will also keep whatever negative health you have.

Having negative health will allow you to use the dead man walking glitch. Use a soda or forty, and you can walk around without guys attacking you (until you hit a loading point, or you load the game). For whatever reason med-packs do not create the glitch, but anything else that heals you will. There are some drawbacks to this glitch: first you will obviously have negative health so anything can kill you. Second, you can't put anything into your inventory. Third, if you have a conversation with anyone, it will change the perspective to third person and make you stuck. The game will work properly again if you save and load the game.

- Lastly, the glitch can horribly corrupt maps. I have only found one place you can do this so far, and that is on the dock with Anna. Right before she talks up to you, pause and unpause the game, and then instantly load the convo save. She will say "I found the ambrosia myself." The rest of Battery Park is somewhat normal.  But Anna will follow you, and Alex won't say anything if the civilians all die horribly.

When you get to Hell's kitchen things get strange. First, a bum is standing uncomfortably close to you when you arrive. Secondly, Paul will be standing by the train already. You can choose to walk by him without receiving your goals- though I don't know if you can leave the map without receiving them. If you walk to Osgoods, all the NSF and UNATCO troopers will be dead, and the front door will be missing. Unfortunately the upgrade canister will be missing too. But if you want, it is really easy to get to the elevator to the rooftops- just walk straight there. Your body is missing, so you can't trigger the alarms. The 'Ton is messed up too, but the warehouse seems to load correctly.

I've tried this out with Paul and a few others, but so far I've only created this one with Anna.

What is a quick way to get negative health?

The map reset glitch is very interesting, the canister at Paul's room is the last one you need though. The Mole Tunnel clip is useful now though, since you can clone the flamethrower ammo at Osgoods. Also you can clone a bunch of Camos at the Mole Tunnels, although that will probably take more time than it's worth (the extra camos would be slighty useful for Versalife 2 and the Catacombs, but only for safety).

The best spots are when the game loads another map. Here are a few places you could get negative health:

- NSF warehouse -> UNATCO: Jump right after Jock talks, pause the game and smoke some cigs until you die. This will cause  Jock to talk to you again, at the end of the conversation you can choose to go to the inventory screen and kill yourself again if you want.

- UNATCO -> Battery Park (2nd time): talk to Jock and jump into the helicopter blades. You will have to do the superjump glitch once.

- 'Ton-> MJ12 base: LAM yourself talking to Paul. Use the convo save right as the next map loads.

- Morgan Everett (forgot where this was): LAM yourself while talking. You will probably have to use the convo save as the next map loads.

There are other places I'm sure, but I haven't tested anything beyond where I am in the GWT.

As for the upgrade canister- if you want, you could skip one of the other upgrade canisters and opt to clone the one in Paul's apartment. If you skip the one at Osgoods you could use that last loading glitch I described (the one that greatly corrupts the next map). You could also skip the one at the airport and head straight for the elevator. I have a feeling that both of these routes will not save any time, but you are free to try it out if you think otherwise.

You can get all the upgrade canisters you need from Osgoods like this: http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299450. If you use this glitch you can clone enough flamethrower ammo at Osgoods, which allows you to do the clip and skip the flamethrower at the Mole Tunnels: http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299472. Like you said, if you load the buggy save at the MJ12 Prison you'll keep all your items, also Anna will be back from the dead! http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299488.

The "Dead Man Walking" glitch is very interesting and might actually be useful for RTA. How to get it quickly at the Catacombs: http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299669. Turrets will still attack you though, so you have to avoid those. Also you can do Area 51 without needing the Camo: http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299757. Get negative health at the Missile Base by throwing a LAM before you talk to Jock.

Possible routes using the "Dead Man Walking" glitch:
Dowd and the Catacombs: http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299900
Missile Base and Area 51: http://www.twitch.tv/labbekak/c/3299917
This glitch doesn't make anything faster (maybe Area 51 because you won't need to get the Camo), it does make some stuff safer and easier.

Strange. I tried  that glitch at Osgoods, but for some reason the canister didn't come back when I attempted it. Everything else came back, but not the canister. Maybe it was because I was using a glitched quicksave versus a normal save? I'll have to do more testing...

Yeah glitched quicksave seem to work slightly different than glitched hard saves, I don't really trust the buggy quicksaves.

EDIT: I think it might actually be doable to run the entire game with negative hp, eating candy bars where you want to avoid enemies. Your only problems are turrets and electricity and those can be avoided easily. I'm going to do a run tomorrow to see how far I can get.

EDIT 2: The best way to get negative way seems to be when you take the helicopter for the Mole Tunnels mission, there is no conversation with Jock, so right before the Helicopter takes off you can kill yourself with a rocket.

EDIT 3: I don't think you can get negative health from the boat to Battery Park.

Huh. I think there might be something wrong with the saves I'm making. Try this out:  right before Anna  talks to you on the dock (after arriving at Battery Park), pause and unpause the game, and then instantly load the convo save. If you do it right she will say "I found the ambrosia myself." Run to Osgoods and see if the upgrade canister is there.

If this works right, you will be able to skip Paul, and a few doors will be gone which should save some time. And all the NSF and UNATCO troopers will be dead. But if the upgrade canister isn't there, then there is no point in using the glitch.
Deus Ex!
I managed to get the "I found the ambrosia myself." line from Anna, but when I use the subway and go to Hell's Kitchen nothing has changed from what there is normally.

Well I'll have to upload a video of that one sometime.

I'm using a buggy hardsave btw, created using the guy that sells stuff outside of UNATCO at the start of the game.

Oh Wow... you are right. It has nothing to do with talking to Anna at the wrong time. It is the saves I'm using.
So here is what is going on: the game tries to load the convo save that I created. It loads the map info from the saves- but it stops loading before my inventory, and objectives are changed. So what I get after I try to load the game is a mixture of the game I played in one save and the one I am currently playing.

Perhaps the quicksaves aren't so untrustworthy after all, it is just that the game is loading information from other maps!

Deus Ex!
I did a complete run of the game today with negative health (getting the negative health before the Mole Tunnel mission). First of all, you can still pickup keys and loot bodies while in the dead man walking mode. I could run through most of the game easily (although I wish I had more rockets, because you need to shoot a bunch of turrets), until the Ocean Lab. First of all there are a lot of turrets in the Ocean Lab and you don't have enough rockets to deal with them, secondly there is a room with electricity that I just couldn't run through. So I just healed up at the electrcity room and got negative health a second time at the Missile Base, using the Jock conversation. All in all it makes a lot of the levels a lot easier, but the turrets and that one electricity room at the Ocean Lab make it annoying.

What would be the quickest way to get a buggy save? Are there any rockets or a  GEP later on in the game?

Huh. I thought it didn't work on bodies either.

Can't say I know the locations, so just use this: http://wikicheats.gametrailers.com/Deus_Ex_-_PC/Walkthrough
Ctrl + F search GEP or Rocket and you should be able to get the locations easily. I skimmed through it,  it looks like most of the spots are going to be out of the way. Unless there are a significant number of cameras, it might be quicker just to chop them up with the DTS.

As for the quickest way to make the buggy save: In my opinion you probably should do it with Paul at the start of the game. If you screw it up, you can start over easily enough.
Deus Ex!
Ah I never even though about doing it with Paul! That's a great idea, you will only lose a minimal amount of time that way.

As for getting ammo: There is a guy carrying a GEP gun on top of the MJ12 Helipad . It isn't that far into the game, but he is easier to reach than the  other places that have rockets.
Deus Ex!
I still have 20 rockets at that point unfortunately, getting rockets after the ship level would be the best, because I lose 5 rockets there.
-80830/100 Health
There is a guy inside the sub base with a GEP gun. No clue where he is in relation to your route. Mentioned here at step 10: http://www.visualwalkthroughs.com/deusex/subbase1/subbase1.htm
Deus Ex!
I don't get anywhere near that guy. I think it might be faster to only get the negative health at the Cemetery (or maybe somewhere before the ship level, haven't found a good spot yet to get negative health) and at the Missile Base. The Ship, Catacombs and Area 51 are the levels where the dead man walking glitch would be most useful. The spots that I found where getting negative health is easy are just before the Mole Tunnel mission, at the Cemetery and at the Missile Base.
Did you consider using the PS20? You could duplicate those? Does it destroy turrets at all?
Deus Ex!
PS20 doesn't destroy turrets and you can only carry one. I think I'm going to be alright for rockets if I only get negative health in a couple of places.
-80830/100 Health
You should try getting the rockets at the gas station. Seems like you have to wait a little while for Jock, so maybe if you pick them up there you wouldn't add too much time. They are supposedly inside a tanker.
Deus Ex!
I usually just shoot a rocket there, alerting the enemies who in turn kill Tiffany. If I use dead man walking Tiffany won't get killed, but if I don't use dead man walking I die pretty quickly because I can't set the enemies there on fire. If I just heal up after Vandenberg and then get negative health again at the Missile Base I'll be alright. Have you managed to get negative health when you're leaving Hong Kong or Hell's Kitchen 2?
-80830/100 Health
Maybe the gas station could still work. So the commando outside is giving you problems? Perhaps you could use the silent run glitch and sneak up on him and kill him in melee. Or maybe if you hit him with the missile and that will be enough to alert the people in the gas station holding Tiffany hostage. Another option is to just pick up that one camo again and use it there instead of area 51. Can't say I have a save in the area to test any of this out.

As for the other areas with negative health- no idea about Hong Kong. In Hell's Kitchen 2 you normally get negative health when you leave, that is where you get captured. Do you mean Hell's Kitchen 3? No idea about 3.

Deus Ex!
Yeah I mean the Hell's Kitchen where you talk to Dowd. If I was really desperate then I guess using the Camo would work, getting in and out of the tanker is tricky though, so it would probably cost more time than it's worth.

I found a few more silent running/animation glitches with weapons:
1. Crouch and attack while standing up. Works like the jumping one.
2. Keep moving forward as you run into a wall and attack. Keep moving forward, but turn around using the mouse, and you will be silent as long as you are moving- and you don't do anything to change your animation.
3. Move while attacking. After you attack, stop moving for a second, and the start moving again. This one is hard to time. Works like #2.
4. Attack while going down the last steps of a some stairs. Pause for a moment. Also works like #2.

They all require you to stop moving (or to run into something) for at least a second, so the dead man walking glitch is probably superior.

Edit: Also found one that might be a bit useful for the Ultimate Run. Hold lean left or right. Run forward for about a second. Stop and wait briefly until you just start leaning again, and then run forward a little bit more. Seems quicker than sneaking around crouching. Not as fast as using the juggling thing but it seems much easier.
