NG+ Earth Warlock ran in 16:37.65. Pretty good run, still some time to make up. I could get sub 16:30 for sure.

I was doing a practice run not recording not paying attention to splits just splitting when I was finished the run I was I looked at the splits 16:36.14 Im so mad I wasnt recording.

Here are my splits I hope I can get the same time while recording.

I did missed the sparrow jump on the last array but nailed it on the dark within.

Taking everyones best times I see this beeing close to 16 if not sub 16 in the future

Good work. My time as a hunter seems a little slow. i could make up my 16:29 ill post it here if i have any improvements using the hunter

I won't be running too actively either with the DLC being here. After I do all the new content I might start having a look at moon runs.

I heard you mention that you might try to get the video of my run for your channel; I'm more than happy to get that to you if we can find a good way to transfer the data.

I've been speed running destiny for a while now and i've set up a spreadsheet for solo segmented time for the game following these rules

- All gear currently available in the game is allowed (includes DLC weapons when they release)
- All Mission must be completed on level 20 heroic modfier or above
along with some of my rules
- Time for each mission is shown in the mission summary screen after completing each mission
- DLC doesn't count towards full game runs
- Final time is all mission times added together.

so far i've gotten full game time down to 1:30:54 and it can still be increased. if anyone can beat any of my time post them to me and they will be added into the list. Good luck running all times on the list are legit. My Gamertag on Xbox one is Zecora MLP 1

I personally still check back here and then to see times and will return to speedrunning this game after the dark below gets boring to me

@Randomboy before Year Two started, you were able to choose the difficulty of the individual missions in each area, but now it's only the default difficulty and then strikes now also have harder versions with a high amount of Light. As well as you don't have to go back and forth to the tower to get the next mission, you just choose the correct next mission in the progression and go.

I think now, with cutscene skipping and other vastly huge improvements made in loot drops and the addition of new content in TTK, I think a full NG category would be doable. I know you can get through the main vanilla storyline (from start through Black Garden) easily in under 8 hours solo, and all mainline story content (including The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King) in under 10. The RNG with getting good drops and knowing when to go back to the tower to get engrams identified would definitely make this a challenge though.

Hi, So just testing Ng /w DLC, every time a new character is created and the account has TTk you are given a spark for lvl 25 boost, with this the run of all story missions can be done in a little under 2 hours
wondering if anyone would be interested in starting this as a category
