A long time ago when I found SDA and I didn't pay attention to the fact that you can post as a guest=}, I registered a random name on the forums. Can it be deleted? I tried to find an option to do that out of curiosity, but couldn't. And then I forgot to logout and accidentally posted a message under that name. Now I'll probably have to explain myself if I decide to post something else in that thread. Or not.
So is there a way to delete a registered nick from the forums? Not that it grates on me, but what is it doing here in the first place..

You could go up to "Profile" and change the name there.
Unless I'm mistaking something (I'm a little confused by your problem).
Or are you talking about deleting an account? Go to profile, and at the bottom there is the option to delete the user.
Rest in pieces.
Thanx.
