FIRST! This game is in ALPHA stage right now. Not everything is in! But the fun is still there. The cost is $19.81 USD, 15 Euros.

Hello SDA! Yet another NON-SPEEDRUN related thread! Yay! (I do love watching speed runs and talking with you runners though! ^_^)

Cube World. Yes. So let's get down to business.

[[Hosting a dedicated server, capacity is 4 people. PM ME for the IP address. It doesn't have 24/7 uptime.]]

This game is a growing phenomenon of epic proportions. I never heard of this game until a few days ago when I saw ZachSK streaming this badassness (<- is that a word?). I was instantly hooked and decided I had to have this game!

Confirmed to own the game:
ZachSK
Ilseroth
Tjp7154
Jesse_McAstroturf

Getting it:
Lenophis
Namisyx

Are the ones I know I have it so far (ME INCLUDED!). If you manage to buy it when the store happens to be open (for a couple minutes at a time it seems) then lucky you! It took me two whole days to be able to finally get my hands on it.

Oh yes, Picroma went there. FROGMEN RACE. Chrono Trigger fans GET HYPE.

I can confirm that this game is highly addictive because I played it for..I think 11 hours straight? Just kept going and going. Finding new dungeons and towns along the way. Played by myself half of that time then did multiplayer with Tjp7154 and another for the rest. We found crazy dungeons and hardcore bosses and epic lootz. The world never ends...literally. You can spend a month just walking in one direction and never find the edge of the world..because it keeps generating new content! So very cool.

Here is one of the many bosses we fought. embed isn't working? (If you have Google Chrome, look at your URL bar next to the fav star if the video won't load. you have to "LOAD THE UNSAFE SCRIPT" it's not unsafe but, SDA=https, twitch=http so yeah Google Chrome freaks out!) This is a highlight vid even though it shows my offline banner. Click play! ^_^
Exoray
I don't believe twitch embedding has ever worked anywhere outside of the live streams board (which is special).

This indeed looks like the kind of game that one could get sucked into very easily. It seems to capture part of what made minecraft such a fun game while still having its own take on the concept, much like Terraria did.
Seeing that other people spend so long stretches playing it it seems it will unfortunately be a game I will have to pass up on. I simply don't allow myself to play these kind of games anymore because I really would spend too much time in it, time that I don't really have Smiley
the board doesn't matter.
Well Textured
More than any other game, this one really puts the fear of Kool-Aid beams into you! I've been having a lot of fun playing this with Tjp7154, Shiden and ZachSK. It's very apparent the game is in development, but it's future could be very bright indeed! Grin
Anything you can do I can do halfass
*whimper*  You do realize I'm trying to get through a stack of console RPGs, build a game of my own, and maybe even prep a legit run here.  And a co-worker already addicted me to Puzzle & Dragons not long ago.  This... WANT.  DO NOT NEED.  WANT.  Can't... decide... O.O;
Dogi the wallcrusher
I picked it up. Made a rogue to start, but was dying to everything. I'll probably make a new character of some other class later, after i figure out the shops and stuff.
