If they did, I must have missed it -- thanks for catching that! I thought I saw, skimming the thread, that someone else volunteered to take over Chrono Trigger -- was that why?

In the alternative, isn't Essentia an experienced CT runner? (Because neither puwexil nor Essentia need sleep at a C4L event!)

As yet another alternative, Crystal Chronicles by Sir VG is almost the perfect length to replace Chrono Trigger. I'd rather have CC than a sub-par CT.

PS: Looking at the attendees list, did we lose all our awesome French attendees? Sad

And LOL at misreading! On my list of possible replacements, I wrote Dragon Fantasy Book was 15:00:00. So, when I was looking at potential replacement games, I took one look at the time and said, "No."

Now I see it's 0:15:00. Slight difference. I'll add that in when I get home Tongue

15 hours wouldn't be that far off of a reasonable marathon estimate for Legend of Dragoon...

Maybe some year, but it would have to be the right game. But, any games that are popular enough to get a 15-hour block are actually shorter runs (I'm thinking like FF6 or SoM).

As an aside, when I was making blocks (e.g., Ys block, Ultima block), I put the games in the order I thought made sense. But, since I've played neither Ys nor Ultima, I don't know if I got them right. If I messed that up, just let me know.

Could I possibly run CT instead of Birth by Sleep? I need to be honest here: I haven't been motivated to work on BBS as much and I don't feel ready at all with it. However, I did start learning the new CT route a little while ago, so it would be easy for me to pick up. If you need to replace the lost time that BBS would leave, you could fill it with CC.

I'd like to offer commentary for FF Mystic Quest, Ys Origin and if possible, Secret of Evermore.

Also, the Ys Block order is fine, it does follow chronological order.

I did get some practice in on FFIII super-glitched run. Funny stuff happened. And if it happens during the marathon, I'll laugh then pull out my safety save and laugh harder.

If something changes to add in The Crystal Bearers, I'll need to know so I can refresh on it.

Edit: I see now that it's on the schedule. Guess what I'm practicing this week?

I'd definitely give CT to Essentia first, especially because I'm not "nearly ready." While I have done pretty much everything the run does I would have to go nuts grinding it between now and the event - I just figured I'd offer in case for some reason it was necessary. The same grind would be necessary for KOTOR, so I'm honestly glad that isn't in either. Mass Effect is close, and Morrowind won't take long to get ready either. I'll get on it tomorrow.

FFGamer has to leave before Chrono Cross so he shouldn't be listed on commentary anymore. (I'm still sad about this)

I need to be on commentary for Dragon Fantasy Book.

I would offer to be on couch for KH2 but I'm not sure that would allow me time to sleep, but I can sit for Chrono Trigger instead since Essentia is now running it.

I can sit for Ys 1, as well. There's not a whole lot to be said for that game, but at least it will make sure that Key doesn't look lonely.

I'd like to sit for one of FFGamer's games, but I have no idea which one would be best. I'm familiar with Suikoden and X-2 but not really on commentary level, but it wouldn't be too hard to get up to snuff.
