Ok, I just finished a speedrun of Pokemon. Before I send it in, I need to black out the edges, like in TSA's LA run. How do you do this?

null transform filter in vdub.

Ok, I got that to work. The problem is that it won't let me save it in Divx. It says "Cannot start video compression: The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2)".

I can save it uncompressed, but even after I do that, it won't let me compress it. The files were already compressed before I cropped it, so does that have to do with it? Other than that, I got everything to work.

DivX videos have to be multiple of 4 in width and height. If this is a GB game it should be 160x144 I think. GBA games are 240x160. Plus, you should have cropped at the same time you compressed.... now, you're compressing twice.  Sad

Ya, I should of. I plan to redo the run sometime, so I'll do that next time. Thanks for the help.
