How do I connect the cables in the back of the tv to record runs again to a VHS tape while playing a game on the gameboy player?

Connect your Gamecube into a VCR in, connect your VCR out (coax or composite) into the TV, set your VCR to your video input channel, record to VHS.

If your TV has a VCR built-in, just connect the system either through the cable (my Genesis) or the AV input and switch to the input channel (mine says Aux for that, my Cube, N64 and PS2)
