I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
So, being deprived of the original Conker for the Nintendo 64, I wanted to try a speed run of C:L&R for the Xbox. Now, what I was curious of is: Surely, load times do not count against me? Because this game is full of them (just about every area needs a load screen). I'm curious to know.

Anyway, I've been practicing my weakest areas of the game in an attempt to get better. I'll also be signing up for an account here soon. Stay tuned.

OK, I just died while attempting it. I was playing in Chapters mode so I could skip the game's many cutscenes. I made it up to the Great Mighty Poo, then died right at the end of the fight. My final time was 1:02:00 (time includes the 2-7 second loading screens in between each area.)

I'm going to try again later.

Unless there is an in-game timer that tells you the time after you beat the game, the loading times will count against you. Don't worry about how much time they add, because it is inevitable.
Hmmm....
Is this going to be a seperate run to the old Conker's Bad Fur day on the N64 or a seperate run for the Xbox because the N64 time is going to be hard to beat.

Well, it WAS going to be a seperate run, but my friend gave me his copy of the N64 version today, and I might just do a run of that instead. The Xbox veresion makes some things easier (beehive chase, collecting the tickling bees) but it also makes some things harder (the damn goblin enemies everywhere, the added monster Doctor Tediz in It's War!, and, of course, load times). Also, the Chapters mode on both games doesn't count time (the story mode does, but then the hours upon hours of cutscenes are unskippable AND add time to said counter) so the load screens counting against me on Live and Reloaded just isn't worth it. I may try it later, but for now, I'm going to try and do the N64 one.

There's a 100% 2h+ run by SnapDragon for the N64 somewhere.

Edit: Durrr, it's on the site. *hits self in head*
