This was easy game complete, i complete my first completion time under 18 hours.

I planned some speedrun route here. Have anybody good idea speedrun that?

-One important gem is triple arrow gem, this was my best friend in the game. I use sword slach and triple arrows combo attack against enemys and bosses.
-One Exp gem gained 50% your exp level per enemy. This make level up easily. You can easily equip better weapons
-Of course you need gems increase your attack.
-avoid all defence gems and not buy armors. Try get armors against enemys.

This game is sometimes randomly, especially it is hard found right enemy fast enought in certain group zones.

Took easily lot time.
Thread title:
I've been looking at running this game recently, and planning was the only thing that I really saw being a problem. I thought it would make sense to do a run with mainly a sword/flail combo because that can be insanely overpowered, but your point about bosses isn't something that I had realized. I know that the boss in Jadd, at least, would be a problem, since you can't get right up in his face and almost have to use the bow. In my current casual playthrough, I haven't purchased a single thing, I've been getting enough from monster drops, although if I were going through quickly and not bothering to kill most monsters, those could be an issue. I might just spend a few hours doing research and planning what would be the best plan, which is how most speedruns start, I would imagine. I'm just glad that someone else had the same thought as me.

Sata andagi!
A few months ago I tried running this one (a perennial favourite) just for kicks, and I found that it's actually a great game to speedrun. I have no idea why there are no runs out there; maybe the fact that it's a roguelike makes people think it can't be done fast. After countless playthroughs, I'm now down to sub-three hours, at least half an hour of which is the unskippable cutscenes.

I'm working on a speed guide for the game, which will hopefully get more people interested. Meanwhile, anyone have a personal record to post? My best so far is 2:54 in-game, and I'd like to know if that's actually fast or if I've missed something big.

(My thanks to MASTER-88 for mentioning his 18-hour time -- which I misread as an actual speed attempt and said to myself, "I can at least do better than THAT." Grin )
