Killer Chobocos don't get any chocolate.
This might sound dumb but.... Would +STR% due to Map% be a little better than the +25%... or would you run out of MP too fast.
This is also just a random quicky put... in Outer Wall there is a stack of Brain Floats. If you equip Jupiter+Unicorn and just Roc Wing up the lot of them you can quickly stock up on MP Pots (the 30% ones) (Magician only, unless you do the Card trick)
BTW: I only just picked this game up... so I don't know much...

That's what I meant by thunderbird running out of magic (thunderbird=map% damage spell). I don't really know what to call the spell.

Interesting Brain Float idea. Not really useful for me, because I'd want to keep the next Magician run a min%.
Vampire Killed
So, how are things going with the run? You're doing a Segmented Vampire Hunter-run? *Sigh* That's what I was gonna do. I'll never be able to beat your time, since I only do like 2 segments, so I guess I'll have to go for a very-close-to-one-hour-SS once I get my DVD-recorder.
I was just kind of curious, have you found any decent ways to avoid the meteorites? Besides from the DSS Neptune + Cocatrice, something I'll not be able to get. I thought about getting the Platinum Armor from a Dark Armor after battling Hugh, this, and a few potions will make sure that Nathan withstands at least two meteorites. If I get lucky and get the Thunderbird card, I'll be very grateful.

How are you taking care of Hugh? I tried to use the Jupiter + Salamander DSS, just like against Iron Golem, but doing this against Hugh seem to trigger his Flame Sword (Which pretty much means instant kill) way too often =/
