Hi all,

I'm using a Startech PEXHDCAP60L to capture RGB from my N64.
The OUTs of my PVM go in to the cap card via a BNC to VGA cable.

I have both AmarecTV and MPC that I test with.

Most games run great and sizing/positioning all looks like it should.

However, I'm running in to some issues Ogre Battle 64.
During the opening logos the game fits in the window as expected.

Once the menu screen kicks in the picture gets shoved to the right, and a green/red bar shows up on the left side.

A video example can be seen here: https://streamable.com/6eg8m

I'm sure this has something to do with the game switching resolutions. N64 didn't have much instances of switching to 480i.. although I believe once the expansion pack came out some games did offer the higher resolution.

In Amarec settings for my device I only get options for 720x240..
Every now and then, depending when I start Amarec, there's options for x480.. but the same result comes out.

Same situation with MPC (Media Player Classic)

Anyone have similar issues? It could be my cap card, maybe someone with the same cap card has some experience with this?
Maybe there is a setting in Amarec I'm missing...

Appreciate the help.

i think something like that happened to me but with HD games where the card itself was seeing a higher resolution and the windowed video was cut off.

the PEXHDCAP has an option to auto scale resolution. have you tried using that and then picking up a resolution?
