Speed is the key.
I have tried downloading several runs from archive.org (different qualities) and some segments of TSA's OoT run... it doesn't work, I just get to a blank page...

I can download stuff from other pages but not thehylia.com nor SDA/archive.org.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

Edit: I'm using Firefox, if that might have something to do with it...

With TSA's OoT Run, do you mean the "Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - 5:25 - Mike Damiani (2004)" segmented Run?

If so, then I've got no problems downloading them (I'm using Firefox too).

So the only thing I could think of (But I doubt that you don't know this Smiley ) is when you left click on a link to a movie, that it tries to play the movie in the browser and because of that the page stays blank for some (Long) time.

Could you otherwise maybe give a link to a file which you can't download?

Nah, I mean his run in progress... It's odd, though... I can download the first part which is a .wmv file. The others are .avi's.

Try right click -> Save target as...

I get that bug too, it tried to open the .avi in a firefox browser window, which works, eventually. :|

Yes, that solves the problem Smiley
But it's not a bug, it just tries to play the movie in the browser.
The WMV format is probably not supported, so that's why you're able to download that one.
And I think you need to blame Quicktime for all this (I can't play WMV's with Quicktime...), but I'm not entirely sure Wink

I can't right click and "save as" in firefox. Before this happened, every time I downloaded anything, I got a message where I could choose "open with..." and "save to hd" etc...

Now I get nothing, it doesn't even try to play the video in the browser. It's like a dead link.

I tried from my other computer and it worked there... problem is that it's in the other end of town. Lips Sealed

And it can't have anything to do with wmv, since I was able to download the wmv version of the DKC run.
TIOLET!
In FF its called "save link as".

Cool, that works. Cheesy

Though I miss the time when I could just click the link, then press ok and be good to go... Sad

Guess it can't be helped. Smiley

You can probably fix it by going into the options for downloads and then mess around in "View & edit actions". There you can set how FF will handle any downloads depending on what type of file it is.

Yes, that's the proper solution Smiley

Works exactly as it did before. Thanks everyone!
