Hello,

I´ve got a huge problem. I finished my Splinter Cell speedrun (sending it right now to SDA) and now I´m searching for a new game to run. I´m thinking about it since weeks but I can´t find a game that I would like to play over and over again.

Splinter Cell 2 doesn´t work on my PC and 3-5 are not fun to play. I tried now Hitman Absolution but this is very very monotonous, you have to kill a target person and then sneak to the exit door of the sector over and over again. Very monotonous and there is nothing to discover, because every way you can go is default. In most modern games you can´t even jump on your own, you can just go to a wall and then the game asks you if you want to jump over it, so you can´t discover unforseen ways etc. Assassins Creed is also monotonous and boring, etc etc...

Has somebody an idea? I really like Splinter Cell alot, but can´t find a similar game, I really search now since weeks.

Tried any of the old Thief games?
Waiting hurts my soul...
There's always the request thread to look through: https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/sda_speedrun_request_thread.....html

Yeah, if you like stealthier shooters, then the Thief series is a great choice. There's also the No One Lives Forever series which I would recommend you checking out (though it's much more light hearted than Splinter Cell or Thief). And Deus Ex series tends towards that as well.

And since System Shock 2 recently came out on Steam, maybe you wanna check that one out too! Wink
You could investigate running the stealth category (I believe it is called Ghost) for Dishonored. I also hear some interesting things about Deus Ex. I personally enjoyed Dishonored very much in just normal gameplay, I recommend it from persona knowledge.

No One Lives Forever, specially the first one, is just like any other FPS when you speedrun it.

Ah, well, I didn't know. But yeah, I can see that. Smiley
