Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have plenty of runs I have to do but... I can't finish them (or record them). My graphic card is too shitty and I don't have a DVD recorder or a capture card for console runs.
So for fun, I downloaded CoD4 demo and decided to speedrun it. I've made around 7 minutes (after 40 tries...), but it's very hard even when we are in easy difficulty. But this game is smooth on my config (yeah, in 640x480 all low details).
I've missed the 6 minutes mark, I've made a nearly perfect run when a big bug happened to me: when I must save the tank, I killed many guys in a very short amount of time, and without getting out of the area. And the tank get destroyed by NOTHING. Yes, you have hear: nothing. So primary objective failed and must redo the run. On a normal play, I take my time and it NEVER happens...
Also the run is hard because of the friendly fire. If you have the badluck to kill one of your friends, game over... And run over. In a game like CoD4, it's very hard to recognize enemies and friendly soldiers. Also, the consequent number of enemies transform the battlefield into a big mess, so it can take a long time to pass one single section of the level.
But this game would be interesting to run, and I would be impressed if anyone can do this run (and all my respect if it's done on hardest difficulty, with 2 bullets = death). So I won't make this run, but it would be cool to see anyone to do it.
