Verification Files

http://v.speeddemosarchive.com/bugdom2-v_HQ.mp4

Please refer to the Verification Guidelines before posting. Verifications are due by Nov. 27, 2013.

Please post your opinions about the run and be certain to conclude your post with a verdict (Accept/Reject). This is not a contest where the majority wins - I will judge each verification on its content. Please keep your verification brief unless you have a good reason otherwise.

After 2 weeks I will read all of the verifications and move this thread to the main verification board and post my verdict.
A/V good, no cheating detected.

The main character's name is Skip... how wonderfully ironic.  Hitting things in the autoscrollers seems to cost a little time, but not much, so I can live with that even if it looks a bit sloppy.  And missing anthills in level 9 looks pretty ugly, but I don't know how good or bad the controls and hit detection are because I've never played this game.  Still, I think this run looks good enough for the game's first submission, so I'll give it an accept.

The skips are good, even if he looked to have some problems with one near the end.
The autoscroll stages looked improvable, but not a big loss.
I think, the stage where he lost the most time was the airplane one with two fails.
Anyway, the run is decent with so much skips, so it's an accept for me.
Autoscroll 1: could probably do this without any slow-downs.
Autoscroll 2: has probably the nicest-looking pinecones I've seen in any game ever.
Level 8: takes 14 seconds to finish a clip here.
Level 9: this doesn't look that hard. I feel the runner should be able to get the anthills with consistency seeing as there's quite a clear visual cue to time the bomb release by.

Not quite the strongest accept mainly because of the ant hill level and maybe even better skips can be done but of course it's impossible to tell how consistent those can be made without playing the game. I know you can practise precision stuff like the ant hills and it will make you better at similar challenges in other games too.

Other tips for the runner: maybe you'll find more visual cues to help you bee-line to the next destination even more smoothly. See if you can "simplify" the auto-scrollers by using a minimal number of different positions inside the chutes that you can use to avoid everything. Maybe it'll be easier to memorize it then?

Same here, some of the autoscroll/non-oob levels look a bit sloppy, but the oob clipping stuff looks really good, so I'll accept it.

edit: I would like to know how much you can skip with the clipping tricks used in here.

To put it into perspective, my very first full run of this game was over 26 minutes. After that, I discovered the clips in levels 5 and 6. In 5, it saves about 3 to 4 minutes, and around 2 for level 6. I'm not sure about 1 and 2, because I've been using those clips since the beginning. Also, I have been recently trying to find a clip to save a little time on level 10. The last part of the level is close to the start, but clipping is extremely hard there for some reason.
