After getting shock jockey, on the way back to the gondola how do you clip through the elevator door on the way up instead of triggering Elizabeths dialog. I'm very confused
Im having a problem where after the first death warp in the Hall of Heroes i backtrack to skip the conversation before you can open the lock and the 2 enemies at the top of the stairs arent spawning. It makes it so right after i pick up the Shock jockey i cant go through the door that those 2 enemies are supposed to open for me and i get stuck there.

You just run at the door until it lets you clip through.

thanks para, now i can start practicing the game more para do you know how to stop the early game upgrade stuff the game tries to give you if you got the dlc and the season pass stuff? i have no idea how to disable that stuff so i can have a legit run.

If you're on PC you can move the folders inside the DLC folder to somewhere else. I think the folder was named SeasonPass or something, there might be one more as well. If you're on console, I have no idea.
Finally took the Console World Record....Final Time was 2:21:55...I only beat System by 8 seconds but during my run I made a good 1:30 mistake at Factory skip along with another 30seconds on the Handyman fight right afterwards...
This run i was able to pull off Downtown Emporia Skip (Which gained back all my time) so now that can be held on the Console WR but Prophet Cabin Skip I did not want to risk attempting.....Also this time my cat didn't unplug my controller so I regain the 50seconds she cost me
Is anyone considering running Infinite for AGDQ? I'm already planning on attending/offering up a few of my other games so if someone else wants to take infinite, I'll happily just provide commentary instead(if it gets excepted) but I'd also offer it if no one else is planning to. :3
Yeah I was sad to hear that you weren't going to be able to make it, I hadn't even considered running Infinite until I heard that. I'm not sure if Teliot or anyone else is planning on attending but until I hear otherwise I'll just plan on offering it on the games thread.
I'd love to run Infinite at AGDQ. I'm planning on attending as well so we'll see how that goes. I can't currently live stream but I can upload runs to youtube as unlisted if people are looking to watch them.
Hey guys after playing and falling in love with the game I decided to start running it on PC any% but I can't seem to do that blasted factory skip. I know how to position Elizabeth and where to aim after jumping but I'm not sure if I'm suppoesed to keep moving and when. I can watch the video over and over but it can only help em so much. any help would be greatly appriciated
It's probably because of your FPS, that's the reason nobody likes that skip. Try going into your graphics options and unchecking the lock framerate option. If that doesn't work, try lowering the graphics settings or even changing to 640x480 resolution. The factory skip took me 4 hours to get the first try, but that was with a locked framerate of 60. At 200+ fps the trick is not that hard.
So I've been routing out/ watching System 100% runs and was thinking that we should not include Gears as part of the requirements.
When it comes to gears, it kinda impossible when it comes to collecting them all since there so many gears spread throughout the game with .the game has 41 total gears registered in the game.... You can only get 35 through a run so there 6 left out. You also have a good chance of picking up DUPS with the same stats. Also when it comes to killing the Handyman they always don't drop a gear and gears have the intention of not showing up in designated places.
Up to you guys but kinda say gears should be left out and 100% should insist of (All Vigors, Infusions, and Voxiphones)

What "all gears" means is that you pick up every gear placed through the game like the voxophones are. It doesn't mean every single possible gear from the list.
Weird part is what I've experienced is some of the "placed" gears don't always appears during runs. I've also picked up gears placed in other places that are placed and other don't see them
I think gears are silly...the handyman gear can fall off the map and despawn, and being forced to pick them up introduces really stupid RNG (i.e. respawn with full health = no second HoH deathwarp as easily).
My solution is to just make a category that's close enough to 100% but not stupid (i.e. all voxophones, vigors, infusions). It's not technically 100% but I'll never run "real" 100% anyways. I'll probably just call it VVI and say it's close enough to 100% for my liking.
