The floor right behind the door that opens after Comstock dies is flush with the ground. If you run there, you should be safe when the area loads.

Ok thanks I'll try that.
If it doesn't work I'll have to go with bootcamp on the mac again to have more power and SSD. That sucks Undecided

EDIT : ok I gave it a try and it works. All I have to do is land between the stairs behind the door that would open once Comstock is dead. And for once, this delay makes the glitch really consistent so having a slow computer helps.

Hey guys little new to this, awhile back I made a speedrun of 1999 mode and was curious if there even was a 1999 section for running or not. I know there are a lot of ways to improve but this was done shortly after the game was released.

Some of us runners had plans on doing a 1999 mode run and Teliot been doing lot of practicing for it but at the moment we don't have a time set for that section so you're the first Smiley

Hey so I'm new to running this game. I read a lot of this thread and watched some runs on yt but I cant seem to get the death warps down.The one at the hall of heroes esspecialy. I faill it 100% of the time could someone explain how it's done for me please? and then I'll be happy to post up my runs and get involved Cheesy

Which death warp (there are 3 in the hall of heroes) and what part of it are you having problems with? For the first death warp, get yourself down to 1 RPG from death, then walk towards the door to the memorial and jump when you're close, then shoot a rocket at your feet right after you jump. If you see the location popup at the top of the screen, you went far enough. If Slate starts a line of dialogue, then you went too far.

Due to DLC Being released and announced today, an update for the game was release also so I have no idea if if fixed any of the glitches or skips we use in a run... Just to let you guys know, I might look into it later

I did a run today and got soft-locked. After getting shock jockey when running back through the memorial of our lady the door is shut and no way to get through. It's never happened to me and liek I said I'm a little new to this so it may be something I didn't know about. Just saying because of the patch today

Sounds like a common error. When you did the Suicide skip, did you backtrack to the top of the stairs in the previous room and get in combat? You'll need that so when you return the enemies will still be there and open the door for you.

Yeah my bad did a run today and it was clean everything still worked for me. What are the rules for 100% runs? I think I'd like to get into those more while I still have no school

Kinda (Most likely) already know but I've been trying out both the Prophet Cabin Skip, and DT Emporia skip on console (Xbox360)

When it comes to Prophet Cabin Skip on console.... Can't be done since the Scenery doesn't render in time when jumping into Comstocks room and when it does render, you're on the bottom floor trapped with Comstock.

DT Emporia skip I tested for an hour but could not for the love of god get the little lift up the pillar....I don't know if it the way I'm pulling it off or if it console(really shouldn't be). Kinda want someone else on Console to do some tests on DT Emporia Skip "Cough" System "Cough".

Edit: Same Issues for both skips on the PS3 except I haven't put as much time on DT Emporia skip as I did on 360

I might try the emporia skip on PS3 later today, since I'm gonna play the new DLC anyway. I'll tell you if I can pull it off. It should be possible to do it, there's nothing framerate related or anything.

As for the Prophet Cabin Skip, I mentionned this problem earlier in the thread 'cause I have the same problem on my computer. It's not fast enough to load the scenery so you fall on the ground before the scenery loads. You can still do the skip by jumping to the area with the stairs behind the door that opens once Comstock is dead. I'll edit and add a video if needed.

Guess I overlooked the thread. That method worked for Xbox so i can incorporate that into my next run.

Hopefully you can pull off the Emporia Skip though. I just can't find a good video with a good description on how to pull it off and kinda want to see a perspective from a console view

I can't pull it off so I stick with handyman Skip... System has not tried it... and previous mentioned Vanger going to attempted it on ps3 and if it works there, then it can work on Xbox.

Was going to say, I use that slow loading method linked above to get the Prophet Cabin Skip on Xbox360. I can also confirm that the Emporia Skip can be done on Xbox360. Unfortunately I don't have any way to record/stream video at the moment, but I use the exact setup used in this video: http://www.twitch.tv/fearfulferret/c/2587095?t=12m33s

Took me a little while to get it, but now I can get it semi-regularly. Hope that helps.

To my knowledge the only skip that can't be done on consoles is the Graveyard Skip.

Alright I can pull of the DT Emporia skip pretty rapidly now, but for some reason when I get to Lady Comstock's graveyard, i get the fighting music everytime and I'm still in battle.

I kill all the enemies before I jump to the pillar on the DT skip, and I wait for the Handyman to spawn in before I do the jump into the next area, anyone know what else I'm doing wrong? From other videos it either doesn't explain afterwards or it just works.
