I have played through the DLC now and noticed that there are (if im correct) 3 plasmids which are needed.
Gravity Well in Minervas Den and Operations, which both can be skipped.
Electrobolt in Minervas Den and The Thinker. The one point in Minervas Den might be skippable. Maybe its possible to even avoid picking it, if the game doesnt remember what you did in the last level and just gives it to you. Like the shotgun in Neptunes Bounty.
Incinerate in Operations, which doesnt seem to be skippable.
Oh, and one small sidenote. You can jump on the first maglock and you are able to directly shoot the diodes. I wasnt able to abuse it in a goodway. Maybe someone else has more luck.
