Deal with it!
Haven't found anything about it yet so I'm just gonna start. Did a 1st run without really much testings, just some obvious choices here and there.  (I really messed up the homeless chapter. didn't took the money because I wanted to test a little which was really bad at the end)
I timed it from the Start of the game till I saw the title screen again after the credits since it doesn't hav a "The End" screen.

Final time: 6:32:33 http://twitch.tv/wypy/c/3167507

Also Ryan glitched out a little during "Black Sun" which was kinda funny.

Would be interesting to know if somebody found any glitches or faster ways/dialogs.

Skimmed through the run and made some points in the following chapters that should be made:

The Embassy: Control the upstairs guard and throw him over the railing to kill him-end chapter.

The Party: Don't take the beer and just sit in the chair for dialogue/dance

Welcome To The CIA: You can fail writing out the equation, you won't be asked to try again.

Hunted: Knock the water bottle over to wake her up/react quicker. During the bike chase I think just stopping as soon as the chopper appears will capture you quicker than driving the whole route.

My Imaginary Friend: Just stand by the garage door and you'll be told to get the oil much sooner. This dialogue is on a timer, so each time you do any interactivity such as playing with dolls, playing with the phone, etc. stops the timer. Outside, just walk to the fence and use Aiden to punch a hole when the other kids appear (no need to hold X or any of the other actions.)

Homeless: When Stan goes to sit down to collect money, you can just walk past him and she'll give the same dialogue. At the supermarket, shutting the camera off will cut some dialogue out. At the last hospital scene you can jump out the window to save time.

Like Other Girls: Stand up and use Aiden to destroy 3 or 4 objects. This will trigger the phonecall to Cole.

Navajo: During the first night you only need to attempt the door, then head back to bed.

Separation: When in your room you only need to pack your clothes in the closet then you can leave.

The Mission: Distract the first guard with the barrel and run past. Second guard you can run past without detection. After investigating the hotel just run past the guard and climb the ladder. Run past guard on the rooftop. Last group of soldiers before the Cathedral are optional, so you can just run past those.

I haven't gone in-depth with the dialogue trees and which choices to make for shorter time, but other than that and some minor movement adjustments it was a decent run overall. I think the timer should end once you fail the last QTE since there's no more interactions from that point on. No need to waste roughly 10 minutes of the timer to ending and credits.
Deal with it!
Yeah some stuff I found out afterwards myself and I was just playing around in that run in general.

The Embassy / The Party / Like other girls / Navajo: yeah like above I was playing around a bit.

Welcome to the CIA: Nice didn't know that one.

Hunted: not sure about just stopping, tried it once and nothing happened. I don't think they really chase you here and are just waiting at the bridge. Gonna do some more testings though.

My imaginery friend: Didn't know the actions stop the timer, thought it would just go on. Sure about the fence? last time I wasn't able to do it immeadeatly. Maybe I just messed up though.

Homeless: Not sure about jumping out of the window. cause by waiting there I basically skip the jumping scene. The rest is identical isn't it?

Separation: Yeah I wondered which ones were needed Tongue

The Mission: I don't thinks its necessarily faster to run past the first guard after distracting him. just running and taking him out might be faster with enough practice.

Sorting out the fastest dialog options will be a pain, but would have to done someday. I just wanted to get a time so I get a general idea. I made a few (more or less) senseless splits. The last failed qte sounds good to me, I just wanted to time it till the till people agree upon a timing.
I have done a little bit on the conversation options in this game:

embassy:
X or Square->O

Party:
try to leave instead of setting music
O to beer
X whole couch convo except for ask about power
dancing: X->Square-X->Circle
powers: O or square, doesn't matter
finally O to leave

interview:
Square, Square, then all Os

Deal with it!
First of all thanks for your help. I was able to shave off over 38 minutes today. Timed again till the ending because after thinking about it I think its the way to go. Reason is because of the possible different endings. Maybe not necessarily for this route, but I'm thinking of doing a "Best Ending" run too. So in my opinion the length of the ending should be implemented.

Final time 5:54:22
http://www.twitch.tv/wypy/c/3171932

Much more solid and cleaner looking run with a few mistakes here and there. I really wanna mess around and see if I can find some skips. I also need to test more of the dialog options.

One thing: Failing to write the equatation didn't work for me in this run, do I have to do it specifically?
The equation you have to correctly do 2 or 3 parts before you can fail it. It should cut to a small dialogue when you do it.

The fence won't trigger till the kids arrive. it's at the same spot, just look for the blue dot. You were probably standing in front of it, which is why it wasn't showing up for you.
Some things I noted as I'm going through your run + my own notes as I work through my own route:

Hunted:
During the first sequence, the scene where the train stops at the station is triggered if you do every piece of interaction in the train. It's for sure faster than just waiting it out.
Stopping the bike as soon as the helicopter shows up is way, way, faster. You get arrested if you just sit still for 10 seconds.

My Imaginary friend:
You can stop choking the boy pretty much immediately and it'll continue.

For Homeless:
At dinner time
Triangle Triangle Triangle X X (baby tuesday camp jimmy)
talk to tuesday then go to bed
You fail the fire escape faster by starting to apply the shield, and then immediately stopping.

In general: Failing QTEs is faster if you intentionally push the wrong direction rather than waiting out the timer.

That's all I've got up to so far. I'll time out more stuff and go through the rest of your run later.

Deal with it!
Huh just tested it AGAIN. This time I got caught when stopping once the helicopter appeared. last time I tried this nothing happened. Strange.

Yeah the choking is an obvious, I was just not paying attention.

One thing I'm curious about is that I saw 2 videos on youtube where people where able to clip Jodie a little into the ground (probably unintentional). I've been trying to replicate that since I saw it for possible sequence breaks.

Edit: One other thing I have to test out is getting caught on the train. Exchanges more than half of the train chase with a different scene.
First Night:
Fail the prompt where you hold X to go to sleep

Like other girls:
Square(Fresh air), then all but X in any order

Alone:
Choke dad just a tiny little bit to get the non-choke ending, but sooner.

Navajo:
Square (Barn)
Potato is faster than Steak. Fajita is faster than Corn.
O (Evade), then all but O(Ranch)
On the first night, fail on the prompt to open the door
X(Shimasani), Square(Ranch) any order
Second night, you can avoid prompts altogether by just not moving the stick at all after hiding behind the rock.
X X X O (Often->Paul->Truth->Lie)

Separation:
O X X X X (Say nothing->Incredulous->Determined->Determined->Obey)

The Mission:
for the briefing, O (Move away)
When approaching the tower, there's a right path and a left path. The right path is faster because there's no patrolling guard.
When Salim shoots at you, activate the shield and then immediately deactivate it.

Some improvements for the sneaking sections. It's difficult to describe, so here's videos:

Old Friends:
All but O (Cole)-> square(where)->O (Hospital)

Norah:
O (Lie), then press the door button before using the computer
With dawkins, Square O O O (CIA, Cole, Truth, Bitter)

Briefing:
Triangle (Distant)
Deal with it!
Nice you are making awesome progress. Sadly can't say the same for my glitching attempts though Tongue
Dragon's Hideout:
Look out the window to cause the door to become active
Follow the trucks on foot instead of going back to the house
Shoot the guy next to the other sub first.
Confessing is faster, not sure about in european version
Kill the guy in the iterrogation room after opening jodie's door. There's enough time that you can do it before the prompt to open ryans door becomes active
Fail to escape the facility and you get a significantly shorter ending cutscene.

Phew. Almost done. Next one is a big one.
Black Sun:
X Square Square Square O (Indifferent, Indifferent, Normal Life, Accept, Careful)
X O O (Accept, Accept, Cold)
When distracting the guard, use the phone and then the lamp instead of the computer. After the guard, you want to go around the left, not the right.
Don't fail the part where you run for the exit right before leaving behind cole. Instead, pass that QTE then just choose to leave him behind
Square O (Reason, Determined)

And that's all the dialogue in the game.
I did a run. Got a 5:36:36 with a crash that cost 4 minutes plus a bunch of smaller mistakes. Sub 5:30 is possible. Also, this happened:

Haven't been able to reproduce it.

Deal with it!
hmm very interesting. gotta play around with that myself. First I have to fix my obs duh Undecided
Deal with it!
just found out that you don't have to help Stan fighting the guys. you can just wait for the cops, seems faster.
I'll look into that + timing some other, more difficult, things like QTEs. I did another run. It crashed again in the same place. I'll try applying the patch to see if that fixes it. If I splice out the crash, it's ~5:27:XX

e: yeah, it saves like 25 seconds. Also, you can activate the ATM from pretty far away. Here's as far as you can be before aiden can get to it:
Deal with it!
This time I didn't do any preparation for the Dinner, didn't even made/order food. Got Ryan to leave during the wine drinking on the couch. Didn't know that one.
I'm pretty sure that's actually slower. Unless, there's something else you can do besides order pizza to cause the timer to skip ahead once it gets near dinner time.

AFAIK, this is what you need for dinner:
Order pizza to cause the timer to skip
Put on clothes and set the table so that jodie doesn't do it when she answers the door.
clean up the house so that you don't have the short cutscene about the messy house
Deal with it!
running in and out of the kitchen triggered aaiden to make a mess of the chairs. And I checked the door but didn't go outside when Aiden rings the doorbell. thats all I did. gonna play around with that tomorrow
e: it appears that I have no idea how it works. I did everything the same as my usual, except instead of ordering the pizza, I just went into the kitchen and selected pizza from the cookbook and just didn't interact with the phone. This time Ryan rang the doorbell 13 seconds later than my usual time, but still significantly earlier than my "Do nothing" time. Obviously, this way is totally worth it over ordering the pizza. But, the primary issue is that I now have no idea how the timer works for that level.
Timed some fights:
p=pass f=fail
Welcome to the CIA last fight: PPFFPPP (counting button prompts)
Hunted top of train: FFPPFPFPPF
Did a run:

This is the second time I've had that glitch in the mission that caused me to reload. Also, I've never been able to get Dragon's Hideout to not lock up, so I just reload there as a matter of course. If I could figure those out, then this time could be cut down by a couple more minutes.
Just found this thread, what is the fastestvway to fail  like other girls?
First, you need to keep knocking over objects until Jodie tells you to stop so that Cole becomes possessable as early as possible. Next, when talking to the guard, select Square, then Square, Circle and Triangle in any order.
