I know marsh did a 100% run of this game. It is amazing. i just had the urge to start practicing for a pure speed run. Marsh, your video is ultra intense and helpful, but if anyone has tips for an any% run just post here. luke
Thread title:
Ummm..... go real fast?

(Just wanted to wish you luck on it.  Banjo Kazooie rocked!  Gotta get the 100% download goin')
Glub glub.
By a curious coincidence, I just watched that entire thing today and had been thinking the same thing... anyway...

The most important thing to consider would be which things you will be skipping, obviously.  Just a quick list of jiggies that take quite a bit of time off the top of my head (possibly inaccurate due to not having played for many years):

Mumbo's Mountain: Uh... none?
Treasure Trove Cove: The treasure hunting thing (hitting the X's).
Clanker's Cavern: Gah.  Everything... but after you get the first couple they start going faster, which is good.  None?  Jinjos seem sort of obscure in their location, so maybe that.
Bubblegloop Swamp: Mr. Vile.  Skipping the crocodile transformation altogether might not be a bad idea, but you would be sacrificing the jinjo jiggie, too, I think.  As a plus, you have 10 less Mumbo tokens to worry about.
Freezeezy Peak: This and Gobi's Valley have that annoying setup with abilities where you have to go to both before you can finish either, which you may not want to do for a speed run.  So, the second race would be out due to lack of running shoes if you do it first.
Gobi's Valley: The maze one takes quite a while, between accessing it and going through it.  If you do this before Freezeezy Peak, the tile flipping game is out.
Mad Monster Mansion: I think it would be fairly easy to skip the whole church area, maybe.

These are just ideas; even here there are more than six mentioned.

My memory of the last two areas is too foggy for me to remember much from there.  :/
thanks alot guys, i will be playing the game through quickly about 5 times, each time with different approaches! If am deffinitely going to play it single segment. This could take 2 months because of my exams this year. Oh well.
I'm addicted to games
The problem is that you can only skip 6 jiggies and something like 90 notes. I think that's why marsh just did a 100%.
When doing the game its in start almost a 100% doing. Has anybody though of Banjo-Tooie? Not necesarily 100% but just doing one could be great.
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
That game would be too long I'd think.
