Verification Files

http://v.speeddemosarchive.com/bamse/

Please refer to the Verification Guidelines before posting. Verifications are due by April 6, 2014.

Please post your opinions about the run and be certain to conclude your post with a verdict (Accept/Reject). This is not a contest where the majority wins - I will judge each verification on its content. Please keep your verification brief unless you have a good reason otherwise.

After 2 weeks I will read all of the verifications and move this thread to the main verification board and post my verdict.
I know nothing of this game but I saw no major mistakes apart from hitting spikes twice during the run but recovers quickly. So I'd say accept on this one.

Other than that I think the game looks terrible and unrelated to anything Bamse and wasn't the least surprised when I looked it up and saw that it's a sprite replacement of another game.
I'm not at all familiar with this game. However, I feel a moral obligation to verify it. What the non-Swedes don't know is that Bamse is an instrument controlled by the ministry of socialist propaganda and political correctness in Sweden. It has been used for over 40 years to brainwash innocent Swedish children. I therefore have a double role here. Both of verifying the video in terms of speedrunning, but also to make sure that the moral integrity of sda won't be tarnished by this game.
I know that sarcasm can be lost over the internet, so let me clarify that what I wrote above is slightly exaggerated.

Gameplay: I'll keep it short. Good run. A few visible mistakes that are understandable in a run that is almost 20 minutes long. It doesn't look like a particularly difficult game, but by no means trivial either. Also good comments by the runner. If someone would like to push the time lower, this run comes with information on how to do it.

Moral: It turns out this was originally released as another game and the main character's sprite was just replaced by Bamse's in Sweden. This means that the gameplay itself has nothing to do with Bamse. There are cutscenes between levels that could potentially prove harmful to children around the world, but the runner was tactful enough to even skip the ending cutscene (and the game language is in Swedish, so that also creates a buffer in case any of the harmful content would have tried to slip through).

Thanks guys! I'm glad that some swedes were able to verify, since the rest of the world probably haven't heard much about Bamse.
The mistakes in the last three levels should not have happened, but otherwise I'm somewhat satisfied with how it turned out, especially since it started as a joke.

I noticed that one section of the comments ended abruptly as well so I fixed that and updated the comments a while ago (not sure if the verifiers noticed this, but it was nothing major that was missing so it should not matter that much I belive).
