First of all, I have to say I'm impressed. A very nice run indeed. You can see a lot of research and planning went into this run.

With that out of the way, I agree with ballofsnow that the quality really isn't up to par. Although most of what is happening is certainly discernable, if you really want to follow what you're doing, it just won't do. It's very hard to see what spells you are using, for instance. Oh, and before you think of submitting this, you might want to edit out the loading screens and menu's first. Makes it easier to time too. Linkage to the FAQ concerning what the requirements are for a high quality, normal quality and low quality vid.

A question, though. Why do you kill the dragon at the end? Did you think that you or Jan would gain another level from the xp reward?

This run really surprised me! I always assumed it just wasn't possible to run through BG2 in a reasonable amount of time.  Tongue

Well, the time limit used by this site is 7 hours, and I already knew you could get through the game within 2 hours, so it isn't that strange. Though to see it done like this is still very impressive.

Congratulations on this speedrun, I really enjoyed it especially the parts where you defeated the dragons using the Slayer. I hope these BG speedruns influence people to attempt other D&D speedruns such as Throne of Bhall, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment maybe even Neverwinter Nights. I believe its already started, theres a topic already begun on PS:T and I've just started playing thru Baldur's Gate 2 again... I may have a few attempts myself in the future.
Thank you very much DAMURDOC

Icewind Dale

I already did a IWD run, but it's still waiting for verification  :-/

edit: http download is down and torrent also doesn't seem to work.
Where can I get the files? I want to watch the last 2 segments Smiley
If you use Azureus, you can still download files without the tracker due to that trackerless backup feature. Also, you can set all other segments to "do not download".
