Hi, I'm new to the speedrunning community, and I would like to start speedrunning AC games. First question is which do you think is the best AC game top do first. Second is I have them on console, so how much of a difference will it make assuming I have the dlc, and should it be a different category because of it. Thanks.

Hey sportsman, have you watched the runs that already exist? There is a NG+ any% warpless segmented AC2 run, an any% w/ DLC w/ warps segmented ACB run, an any% w/ DLC w/ warps segmented ACR run, an IL NG+ 100% da vinci disappearance run, and an IL any% lost archive run.
Since Phi is currently preparing an AC1 run, I suggest you pick up AC3 (any% segmented for example). Or you can try some 100% (stats sync) run, preferably on ACB (or ACR).
According to me, DLC or not should be different categories, but since it's faster and you have it, don't worry that much.

Actually, I'd recommend AC1. It has a lot of super fun skips and tricks, and some competition would probably motivate me to get off my lazy ass and actually work on it.

I dont own AC1.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I practiced the any % run on AC2 up to Sequence 5, and I see that Fed is working on a 100% sync (stats) run with warps. With warps and improved planning, whats the estimate time of AC2 any% w/ DLC w/ warps segmented.

I think something between 5:00:00 and 5:15:00 with newest routes and tight execution. But don't forget this is an ACB thread Wink
