User "AntonioPeremin#3334" on Discord has come to the Quake Speedrunning server in hopes of getting help with an issue on the SDA forum. In their own words:
Quote:
My Problem is that I got Banned 2 years ago on SDA.Unfair Ban 'Cuz my Younger brother commented on my Yu-Gi-Oh! Run in verifications from the same PC than I used(So same IP adress). They were thinking that I commented on my Own Run.Missunderstanding.Now I have new Speedruns which I would like to submitt on SDA.

I've been unable to find a place to direct them for ban appeals, so I decided to make this thread in hopes of resolving their issue, and also to ask if there is a place where I can redirect other users in the future for similar inqueries.

Their username on the SDA forum was "AntonioPeremin"
Thanks
Thread title:
I can confirm that 'AntonioPeremin' was banned for trying to verify one of his own runs. He submitted several runs to SDA before the ban and some of them were accepted and are still hosted on the site. In relation to these submissions, we've had a lot of private correspondence.

It goes without saying that it's not possible for us to determine with absolute certainty who sat at the computer and posted the verification comment that led to the ban. However, given the history of our interactions with Antonio, we believe the most likely scenario is that he posted the comment himself and then came up with the story about the family member after being called out.

We wish Antonio all the best, but the ban will not be lifted (unless very compelling evidence in favor of Antonio's version can be presented).
Yeah, Antonio's suspicious claims don't end there sadly. Or SDAly if you prefer. And why wouldn't you?
