If there are any members of the Forums that live in Oklahoma or have any families that were affected by yesterday's tornado, reply here. Watching the aftermath of this devastating tornado, I got the idea to come here to SDA and see if we can donate some money toward the recovery of surviving victims. I'm not asking for a marathon (like Japan Relief Done Quick), but if I can get one of the Admins to set up a donation tracker, we can all help the victims to recover and start over.

Donations can be made by online or text, and all proceeds will go to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. You also have the choice to donate by text message. To text your donation, text REDCROSS to 90999.

The Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief is also seeking monetary donations, with all proceeds going toward tree removals, laundry services and meals. Checks can be made to them.

The Salvation Army is looking for donations that can be done online or by text. To text a $10 donation, text STORM to 80888. Check donations are also accepted.

United Way of Central Oklahoma is in need of financial donations, but they can be made online or by check.

Feeding America is asking for donations to be made online on their website.

Operation USA, which is based in Los Angeles, is asking for donations to be made either online, by check or by texting a $10 donation to AID to 50555.

For more information, please check out this website link below where you can find out more about the charities. I also got my information from this website.
