Cool to hear you're getting back into 100%, Hazdogga. I've been wanting to get into running it consistently myself, but I'm a bit focused on getting sub 23 in All Bosses atm. In the meantime, for anyone who's running 100%, I have a few strats that I wanted show off and make videos for that'll hopefully help.

The biggest one is this strat I have for 100% Youngtown (btw, if anyone is already using this strat let me know so I can properly credit them if need be. I'm not as intimately up-to-date on what they're doing for 100% as I am with other categories, tbh).

Hey there everyone, just started running Anodyne Any%, and will probably start running 100% soon. My current Any% PB is 5:42, so I'm getting there! xD

It's weather time!

I found a thing. Not sure if it's relevant yet, but it's a thing.

So, it turns out that if you enter a screen vertically and hold the opposite direction to scroll the screen back, but for some reason Young is stopped (in this case by a dialogue box) the scrolling gets all screwed up and warps you back to the bottom of the last screen. I wasn't able to go anywhere special since the tutorial area is a bit cramped and you're most likely to run into an object immediately here. I'm wondering, though, if this is possible (if difficult) to do using rebind to pause quickly Young's movement during the scroll. If so then we might be able to skip screens on command.

I aiming for a Zelda 1-style scroll glitch.

@ the barrel I've done this a few times myself in the tutorial area trying to skip dialogue boxes I'm yet to try it elsewhere, though I do have an idea actually ...

##Edit forget that you NEED to have a dialogue box on the screen as soon as you transition to make this work, so in theory it would only work in the tutorial area.

While I was at work I was kicking myself realizing that I had run into something similar somewhere else during All Bosses a while ago.

If I can get it to work without softlocking then it might be useful in All Bosses, 100% etc.

Saefer did Glitchless a while ago and (afaik) holds the record for it. I might pick it up later but I'm in the middle of re-routing some things in the category, but I'm more focused on AB and 100% so it'll be a while before I run it personally.

(I'm looking to do it without extra health and only the jump shoes, broom and Extend, fyi. Basically how I'm planning the route right now.)
