Most Android software is going to be easy to run no emulator required, because it'll be bytecodes for the Dalvik VM.

Apps that use native code might be a problem and require emulation, but you can deal with that on a case by case basis.

as i know,
RetroArch (Google Play|apk) is the best free emulator.
ClassicBoy (Emulator)(Google Play|apk ) is another good one but is i remember, you will need som premium to unlock full features.
Anw, i think you shouldtry these emulators only if your phone has at least 2 GB of Ram. or your device will be kinda sluggish and lag.

Dapper as fuck.
Based on the way slowbro phrased his first post I assume he means android emulators for the pc.  Bluestacks is an example of one, I've used it, it works fine but it kind of intrusive and wants you to link all sorts of accounts and things so I stopped using it.
