What?
I just finished this game. It looks like there could be some cool skips (It should be possible to jack the locked door open in the area with the pods), and it seems many of the tricks from the previous game are still available. Quick-save and quick-load are available, as is the debug menu (though this menu has been updated slightly) if people want to use these to test with after they have finished.

Patched Stuff
Differences to Amnesia: TDD V1.2 (Justine patch)

Boosting has been fixed a little. You cant get huge vertical boosts off small ledges anymore. You can still boost on certain surfaces like trees as well as climb up walls.
The save reload warp MAY have been fixed as no maps use "PlayerStartArea_1" internally, not that it is useful anyway.

V1.02 (Not Out yet!)
The chair in tunnels 07 is no longer bugged.

That area in the beginning when you used a chair in the bathroom to go out of bounds. You can also simply walk into the wall next to the ceiling stairs.

Just walk directly into it and you'll clip through lol. The collision detection is non-existent.

Think I found a useful skip to get into the graveyard at St Dunstans church without finding the gas tank, filling it, returning to the truck and cranking the truck. Don't know for sure, but I think you can skip the flashback by vaulting over away from the openable gate.

Before you get to the outside area there's a piggy laying on a crate, take him outside and jump on top of him, grab him and jump...if the pigs body stays under you, you can float and keep jumping higher and make it past the invisible wall:
The Dork Knight himself.
So much for this game being "fixed." Smiley

i thought this skip was gonna be hard (i'm bad at half life) but if you crouch, grab, then mash jump, it should work super easily. (i have crouch set to right click and jump set to E, so I hold both mouse buttons and spam E.)
Lots of great stuff popping up already. I have a few OOB's that I'll be looking into and posting soon. Keep up the good work guys!

I assume everyone knows quick saving and debug consol are both still accessible if you enable them. Very helpful for this!

Somehow I can't seem to enable it for some stupid reason. So I'll just do 200 save files. Oldschool save strats :'D

@tekkie Yeah .. that and another instance made Apjjm and me call it "ultimate form of piggyback ride". You can ride the monsters in this too so yeah .. lotsa piggybacks to be ridden by Mandus.

And finally I may have found something on my own. It's on the map called "Mandus, Saboteur"

The problem is that building edges have invisible walls still, so the only way down is to keep the piggy and fly over.

Is it just me, or does the clip in map 1 rarely work? I am finding that the column on the right side of the stairs is far easier to clip though, but there is no ground underneath it. =/ I have landed on the top of the room a couple times, but it is nowhere near consistent.

EDIT: I have found a way to make it semi-consistent. Use crouch after you clip out.

Yea, in the picture that I posted, that wall is the easiest to clip through since it literally has no collision detection. If you clip through and hug the same wall you clipped through, you can consistently clip safely / climb above. The only reason why it seems like you fall off and out of the world is because when you clip through, sometimes the engine likes "throwing" you clear of the clip and with nothing to hold onto, simply fall.
What I found to be the most enjoyable clip/trick is the outside part where you can clip through the ceiling. **Image credits to apjjm's stream**



If you simply spam jump on this pillar using the wall as a support, you can jump spam the ENTIRE way up way above all the other sections and simply fall down through the ceiling of the map. Since everything on the ceiling of the buildings are a fake.

ap, you can clip through the left side of the right statue in the very back of the church. you have to land super carefully, though. it pops you out quickly and you have to 180 to land on a small corner strip. you can clip onto the pedestal the statue stands on and *then* OoB if you kinda feel around, which pops you directly onto the corner.

just a re-recording of Apjjm's map 6 route, since i had a little trouble with the one he had on twitch. you can hurl yourself off the edge right at the start, if you so choose.

Also, has anyone had luck loading maps with debug? Whenever I open the maps folder in "Load Map" function, my game crashes.

i was working on a sewer OoB too - this is the best i have :s

btw the clip is in the ceiling where it meets the wall where the pipe turns into the wall. the chair makes it way easier. (clip at around 1:16)
Found a ceiling clip in Pigline after killing the pig. You just hop on the boxes in the sewer like part and boost straight through the ceiling. Haven't found a way back in bounds yet, but all areas are loaded so it would skip 3-4 slow cinematic parts if we can find a way back into the final room (the very open room with the elevator).

I also found a single segment route for the sewer. In the area with the first valve, you can clip through the ceiling instead of using a save warp. I think it's actually faster overall than using a save warp anyways. I recorded it on twitch, but I forgot to adjust my twitch brightness so it's nearly unwatchable. I'll have to adjust it and record it again soon.
