Ugh... does anyone know how to fix Youtube stretching the video's length out, without reencoding the video? The music was running at the right rate, but the video was running at about half speed.

"&fmt=xx" ("xx" determines one of ten different two-digit numbers) in the URL

I think it's a framerate issue. The IQ and HQ versions run at a native 60fps, and I noticed that Youtube just about doubled the length of the video. That means they'd be playing at 30fps. The MQ version runs at a native 30fps, and sure enough, it uploads perfectly.

I uploaded the HQ to screwattack and had no problems. Of course, the problem with uploading on screwattack is that hardly anyone will see it...

But I guess if anyone sees it it's better than nothing, right? Smiley

Thanks everybody, glad you guys like it. I must say though, this wasn't a solo effort. Big thanks to everybody who suggested clips, whether I used them or not. Specific props to cygher, you've got a good idea of what works for one of these things. I wanted to use a few others of yours, but ran out of space. And of course big props to nate, without his video mastery this would just be a spreadsheet you read while a mp3 played in the background.

As for HQ and IQ on youtube, while the regular mp4 doesn't work (which is retarded), the 512kb.mp4 does. Not sure exactly how that stacks up against regular MQ, but you can judge for yourself, as that's what I uploaded to my channel (IQ).

My feelings on The Demon Rush

I would have done that because I had the password to that account, but the guy running it linked the account to his google account. Angry

I pmed and emailed him earlier today, and I'm sending him a message on his other youtube account, which he logged into 22 hours ago. If anyone knows of a better way to contact him, then do so ASAP.
