Wondering if anyone has them this time around. I've enjoyed reading the logs from my favorite runs at previous marathons and I was hoping to do the same this time, as well.
I believe I have the twitch chat logs starting about an hour into the marathon through the end of the bonus stream. I don't recall ever getting disconnected so it should be everything.
darbian, if I could have those, that would be great. I have the chat logs from several hours before the event started, but always had breaks when I turned off my PC - which was whenever I left for more than 1 hour. Feel free to PM me about it.
Ok, here's the twitch log. Each line is timestamped (to the minute) and it looks like logging started around 1 hour 18 minutes into the marathon. CBenni should be able to add what he has to fill in the first part for a complete log. I did notice one brief disconnection of a few minutes, I think the stream was down at that time anyway.
NOTE: Since this was captured through IRC, deleted messages will still be displayed in full. This means that the log contains a lot of nasty stuff that you probably don't want displayed to others. I haven't cleaned it up at all outside of removing a few blocks of joins/parts and other non-message data, I will leave that to someone else.
For the next AGDQ, we will have full logs including usercolours and timeouts. I dont know if I will release those, but I dont see any issues (aside from them being way larger, I am expecting about 500 MB before .zip-ing
Heres the version with my logs included - logs join seamlessly at line 31599 - 1h18m42s into the event. Keep in mind that the ~30k lines of the day before and the AGDQ hype hours are in the AGDQHype.txt, while AGDQChat.txt only contains the logs from the event itself.
Onto making better stats
We had alot of fun reading chat, and making word stats. I added a list of words posted with the number of times they occur.
I mean I'll do a better job in having logs for the IRC Chat, at SDGQ. I'll see if I can get a Raspberry Pi and modify it to just look at any IRC chat and have it log all of the chat and if possible upload it to a site at any time. I'd like to make it so it would be also viewable using a custom site, but hey I don't know we will see what happens.
I don't have full QN logs available, due to a combination of not having foresight to setup the desktop beforehand and intermittent connection issues. If no one else can provide a full set, I can try going through what I have sometime in the next few days.
Here's all the screencaps I took of Twitch chat during the marathon. I can't even remember what I found amusing about some of them, but oh well... Also, if don't like the usual stuff that goes on in the chat - people getting made fun of, words like trap and retard - you probably shouldn't click the links.
I have quakenet logs but my client, because of the theme I use, formats them weird. Also, it's a 90mb file which notepad can't handle. I could load it up in Notepad++ and mass replace parts so it looks more like normal IRC logs, and then separate them by day, but it'd take some work. Let me know if you want me to do it though.
here's another copy (20mb, over 355k lines) of quakenet's #sdamarathon between jan 4 through jan 25 i believe. time zone is gmt+1 or whatever sweden has.
line 13075 the topic was changed to "Up now: Jak and Daxter", so i guess it really started around there
