Magical. Flying. Bathtub
http://www.twitch.tv/robo_sparkle

All times include setup and buffer

1) Batman: Arkham City (Xbox 360) Because it's BATMAN, I know it was ran last year and Joker killed Chipin but it was very well received and I think it would do well again especially with the upcoming release of Origins on October 25th.  Lots of donation war potential with 9 Batsuits to choose from, the run is tighter with a couple of new glitches to show off.

a) Hard Mode, Batman Only - 1:50:00.  The shortest category
b) NG+ with Sidequests - 3:00:00. This is the category I ran last year after a $1000 donation incentive was met. Includes all the sidequests that don't include Bullshit RNG that could get in the way (so not Zsasz, Deadshot or Random Acts of Violence). NG+ is so that I can do Riddler as well and show off some extra glitches.

2) Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360) As above - wouldn't recommend having both of these in the same marathon and I am currently more practiced in City but this would also be a great showing.  If HonorableJay comes again and is up for it then we could race (assuming one of us changed systems or we found a fair way to differentiate between PC and Xbox timings).  Two possible categories:

a) Easy Mode - 2:10:00
b) Hard Mode - 2:30:00

3) James Pond 2: Robocod (Mega Drive / Genesis) - 35:00
I know it was cut for SGDQ but it's a delightfully charming platformer featuring everyone's favourite F.I.5.H secret agent.  It was well received during bonus stream last year and I think it deserves an upgrade.  Also Magical Flying Bathub is still the best vehicle in any video game ever and you know it.  Possible donation incentive to race AdamAK in the sub-1 minute cheated ending route.

4) Dragon Crystal (Master System). Race with AdamAK - 50:00
Some people may say the Master System has seen too much love in the 'GDQs but they're wrong!  This is a rogue-like and spiritual sequel to Fatal Labyrinth on Genesis/Mega Drive.  There is a huge amount of RNG but over the course of a race it tends to be balanced enough that we can cater for most things.  Adam and I are pretty consistent at finishing within the 40 mark and both of us have come very close to sub-29 times in the past.  Also AdamAK's commentary alone should be enough reason to get people watching Tongue

5) Great Giana Sisters (Amiga/C64). 15:00
Possible bidding war between Amiga and C64 versions although this relies on someone else bringing a C64 - either way it's about time these consoles got their chance at AGDQ!  Didn't go well at ESA admittedly but I did get a live PB in bonus stream during setup for Toki, and I got an 8:21 almost immediately afterwards.  Side-scrolling Amiga platformer starring Giana and her Sister Maria (who are neither Super, nor brothers, so any similarities to other sibling combos is purely coincidental).  Featuring the ever-ignorable Live Action Movie Yoshi as most of the "bosses", and a nifty glitch I discovered known as warpdeathing.

Edit after Dana's post: I'll happily yield C64 Giana and do commentary, obviously my offer to have a bidding war still applies!

8:21 run here:
Quote from mikwuyma:
your_name_here:

1. I'll consider this along with the 4-player run.

2. Maybe as a potential bonus game? Probably not though.

3. Video? never heard or seen this game before.

For Borderlands 2, if it's between my run and the 4 player coop, I'd highly recommend you do the coop. I imagine it would be a lot more entertaining overall. NG+ is more of a one-trick run, whereas Co-op uses basically every technique in the game and is highly varied. Also, there's more opportunity for donation incentives in coop.

Here's a video for the third game:

Hey y'all,

Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/ssbmtwig

1. Donkey Kong Country 2 [55:00] - Any%

Solid platforming with tons of variety, wrong warps, and cool glitches. Its been done many times (all but past SGDQ), and for a good reason IMO.

I'd also be willing to do a donation incentive for the 5 Lost World Levels + True Ending K. Rool after the normal any%, this would add 10-15 minutes. The best part of 102% without the bonuses.

Reflected, theJuice, and Dragonballjoseph have posted later in this thread about DKC2 and are all much much better than I am, so I yield to them, if under some circumstance none of them could come + this run makes it into the schedule I'd be honored to do it.

Thanks and best of luck making the best AGDQ schedule yet.

I Wanna be the Boshy [PC] (Any%) [Estimate 1:05:00 with incentives] - Extremely difficult fast-paced classic platforming, and very entertaining. Homages to many NES games. Insane donation incentives - an optional jtv world where you fight a giant Kappa face, playable rickroll/chocolate rain/etc music, and more.

Let's Dance!
My streampage: http://www.twitch.tv/danacrysalis

I haven't been able to stream much because internet woes, but for the games I currently practice on emulator (my disks crapped out), I will have a cartridge before the end of the year.  I loved attending last time, would love to run something this time.

1.  Monty on the Run (Commodore 64) (Any%, 0:25:00) - Legendary for the amazing music, especially after it was featured in IWBTG, this game is a very, very hard platformer with a few timing perfect jumps and a hellish car segment.  Best Run is under 9 minutes, but RNG makes the estimate a bit longer.

2.  Forbidden Forest (Commodore 64) (Any%, 0:10:00) - One of the earliest creepy/bloody games, very high tech for its time (1983) with pseudo 3D parallax scrolling, a lot of dancing archer, and likely some horrible death by fire.  Best run is 0:04:48, great luck could make it shorter.

3.  Jumpman (Commodore 64) (Beginner Level Set, Run Speed 2, 0:15:00) - A classic C64 platformer that saw its way across several consoles and sequels, lots of gimmick levels and tricky jumping to keep interest from stage to stage.  Donation incentives to do additional level sets would increase estimate, ten minutes each.

Edit:  To RoboSparkle's post above, I am totally willing to tackle Giana Sisters C64, and obviously am bringing my system.
Professional Shaq Fu Speedrunner
http://www.twitch.tv/jackinthebox333

Shaq Fu (SNES) Story Mode (Easy) [Estimate: 15:00]

Shaq Fu is known as one of the worst fighting games ever produced. With poor hit detection, horrible controls and a steep difficulty curve even on the easiest difficulty settings, Shaq Fu is not only a bad game, but one many people have not even beaten. Story mode consists of a Pepsi sponsored story mode where you are tasked by a Mr. Miyagi rip off to rescue a young boy from a menagerie of six Hollywood monster movie ripoffs.

Shaq Fu is a perfect game for the AwfulGDQ block because while it is a funny bad game, it doesn't over stay its welcome because of how short it is. Plus the run shows off the ridiculous way to actually defeat the enemies AI, which is programmed in an insidious way.

And yes I'm well aware Uyama already turned Luigimeister down on this game, but all he can say is no again right?

I currently have the fastest known time of 9:20 which can be seen here:

Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/Astrious

Here we go! (Time estimates are in (Hr:Min:Sec)

Vexx (Any%) (Gamecube): [Estimate - 2:20:00]
I feel that Vexx should be making an appearance for a GDQ marathon at least once. The game is a fast paced action platformer (Think SM64 but with a more "Badass" look). It contains a few interesting glitches and mostly movement tricks in the game. It has some challenging platforming that looks really nice if executed correctly. My PB/WR for this is 2:15:05 but there are many new skips for me to learn.

Golden Sun (100%): [Estimate - 4:45:00]
Now I know this is a fan favourite amongst many many people so a Golden Sun needs to appear somewhere in a GDQ marathon. I was gonna let Werster run this but he doesn't want to so I will try to do it justice. This run should be a precise flow of RNG manipulation and should be quite impressive. My PB is 5:16:00 but that was without any routing. With routing I expect a 4:20:00 or less.

Golden Sun (Mia-Less%): [Estimate - 5:00:00]
Utilising a glitch that is abused in the 100% route I can skip having my forth member join my team. This leads to some really silly programming issues about halfway through (Characters get duped). This is a more funny run rather than a precise RNG manipulation run that 100% follows. My PB is 5:17:59 but once again, that was without routing. With routing I hope to have a 4:45:00 run.

I was thinking that if Golden Sun gets in, we could have a donation war between Mia-less% and 100%. Plus you can have donation wars for the naming of all 4 characters in the game!

Thanks for all your effort and good luck!

1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Any% no S+Q no OOB [1:35:00]
AGDQ staple game I'd like to run or race with others like Ineb, Jadin, or ChristosOwen if he attends.  I have some rust to shake off but I'm willing to put in the practice time for a good showing.  Also grabbed myself a JP cart so yeah, don't worry about that ZSR leaderboard emulator thing.

2. Dark Souls - Any% BKH RTSR [1:30:00]
This was showcased at ESA, SGDQ and will be run soon on Happy Tails.  For a marathon run it is very dangerous as the difficulty is fairly high and death can cause minutes in losses.  It will require a save file as the run depends on a certain drop at 30% rate 6 minutes into the run, so if the item doesn't drop you can just load up the save file and continue as if it did drop.  I'm not nearly as good as UberGoos who ran at SGDQ, but like ALttP I'm willing to put in the practice for a decent showing.
First of all, if any of my games do get in, I would like to be known as PiePusher11, not SSBMaster11. My twitch page is http://www.twitch.tv/piepusher11

1. Pikmin (All Parts) Estimate: 1:40:00

There has been a lot of hype surrounding this series since the release of Pikmin 3. I’m sure people new to the series, as well as people familiar with the series, would be interested in seeing this game run. I’m not the best at this game, but I do have a fairly respectable time, currently at 1:29:16.

2. Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (100%) Estimate: 1:40:00

I currently hold the record for this game, at 1:32:56. I know this game hasn’t been run at a marathon before, but, for those unfamiliar with the game, it’s a very fast-paced platformer game, and it has a very in-depth combo system, which adds a lot of depth for speedrunning.

Sorry if this is kind of a long post, but it’s hard pitching two games that have never been run at a marathon before, especially never having attended a marathon like this before...
Now a hit show on the CW
http://www.twitch.tv/arrowspace

1. Star Wars: Rogue Leader (Estimate: 1:00:00) - Well-received game from a popular franchise, hasn't been featured in a marathon yet. Could offer optional levels or unlockable ships as donation incentives.

2. Final Fantasy X-2 (NA, new game - estimate: 4:45:00) - While opinions of this game are mixed, it's infamous, if nothing else. One of the only FFs to not be in a marathon yet, and it's one of the shorter ones, too. Could offer up some of the silly cutscenes (like the hot springs) as donation incentives.

3. Katamari Damacy (Estimate: 1:00:00) - Cult favorite, hasn't been in a marathon in a while. No donation incentives, but I am willing to cosplay as the King of All Cosmos while I run this (with Mike's permission), and there will be singing.

4. Little Nemo (Estimate: 35:00) - Short, fun game that somehow hasn't been in a GDQ yet. Great for races, too.

5. Garfield: Caught in the Act (Estimate: 35:00) - Because it would be hilarious to have a mini-Garfield block during AwfulGDQ Wink
My feelings on The Demon Rush
BTW, I'm going out to dinnner now, so I won't be back for at least an hour and a half to respond to posts.

Page 4 stuff:

ButtersBB:

1. It's a good game, but I'm not really sold on it as prime speedrunning material.

2. Yep, on the game list for now. We'll have to see about second round.

3. Maybe? This game is a bit samey, but if done fast enough, maybe?

4. No, too obscure.

Kirua:

1. Very yes. I don't have a strong feeling for 100% or warpless, so it's up to you really. I'll put up 100% for now and you can change it to warpless if that's what you prefer.

2. I'll consider this game for now. We're also getting some strong FPS games in so it might not surivive second round.

3. No, too obscure.

obdajr:

Chrono Trigger: How about a donation incentive for 100%

Mega Man 7 and 8: Fun games but I don't think they should repeated so soon. Also, we have a lot of good offerings for Mega Man X and Zero series too.

Tron Bonne: I'm aware this game is a cult classic, but from  a speedrunning perspective, I don't think this game is a good watch.

Mega Man X: I'll put it on the list, but don't be surprised if I prioritize Caleb/Zewing.

Aleck47:

1. Okay I'll put you and Kiyura on the list for this game, and we'll see how things progress as we get closer to the marathon.

2. New Super Mario Bros. DS: This didn't get a great reaction at the last AGDQ, and repeating the same category doesn't really strike me as a great idea regardless.

3. I'd have to see how you and drogbass compare to each other.

Molotov:

1. I love this game, but console beat 'em ups (with a few exceptions like tmnt4 and sor2) are generally not that well-regarded.

2. I'll add this to the list, but my biggest fear is the room being dead like it was for Halo Reach AGDQ 2012.

3. Definitely a Cult Classic, but I don't think that's enough to carry this game.

4. Fire Emblem is definitely one of the more popular srpg series but I'm not sure this game really has the donation incentives like other rpgs do. It also might be hard to follow.

neskamikaze:

American Wasteland: Sounds like a solid addition, put it on the list.

CVII: Belmont's Revenge: Gameboy Castlevanias are not exactly known for their speed, or being particularly good either.

Studio:

1. HL2 is a game we haven't had in a marathon yet because no one has stepped up to the plate. I'd definitely like to see this. Would this be normal or hard difficulty?

2. This game looks cool, but I don't really know much about it, nor do I think a lot of people know about the game.

3. This game didn't seem to catch on like Super Meat Boy did.

4. This is a cool run, but I don't think it was popular enough at SGDQ to catch on again, at least not right now.

5. uhhhhh idk about having people compete for the co-op run.

controllerhead:

Kirby's Adventure - Talked about it with romscout a bit and we both think this is a good addition, especially with the wall glitching tech.

SML2: This was played a lot back in the day, but it doesn't strike me as a great game from a speedrunning perspective because it's slower than other Mario games

Metroid 2: This game strikes me as very dry compared to other metroid games. It's slower-paced, and there aren't a lot of sequence breaks or shortcuts. Siding on no.

Klaige:

1. Castlevania Bloodlines - One of the great Castlevania games that we haven't had in a marathon yet. Adding it to the list.

2. This game is just silly, why not have it in awful games? Adding it to the the list.

3. I don't think this would survive considering how many games I'm getting. On one hand, it is Battletoads, but on the other hand, this is a more obscure Battletoads entry.

presjpolk: I'm aware et is infamous for being awful, but a. I don't know how we'd capture co-ax (iirc that's all 2600 has), and a speedrun of this game is just kinda meh and really confusing.

Darkfrog: I've explained Fire Emblem games in my last couple of posts, but in case if you missed it. Not as strong donation incentives as other RPGs and the action might be really hard to follow.

Final Fantasy VII: Already said no to previous offers and 15 hours is quite high for a slots run.

Kefka14:

1. This game isn't bad, but it's not particularly notable and quite obscure.

2 and 3. Is this a point and click?

4. I'm aware this is kirby, but at the same time the pacing is quite slow and there's not a lot of tricks in the game.

cyberdemon531:

EDGE: There's definitely neat tricks, but this game is unfortunately too niche.

SuperSponge: I know nothing about this game.

RoaTheEternal:  I really don't know much about this game. I know it sold a lot, but at the same time the last Bioware game (Mass Effect) we had at a marathon got a pretty meh reaction, and this is 3x as long.

Dime:

Ultimate Doom: Doom did well last AGDQ, so it's at least worth considering again for the next AGDQ.

Final Doom: The Plutonia Experiment: Hey an original doom engine doom we haven't done. Putting it on the list. What difficulty?

FieryBlizzard: VVVVVV never seems to get old for our viewers, and it's always a neat watch. Adding to the list.

Graviton: Someone who is actually near PEACHES_ skill level in Blast Corps? Interesting, and worth considering, adding it to the list.

TLoZSR: I'll put you down for Skyward Sword. If it makes it for the second round, maybe you and TestRunner can trade commentary and co-op the game a bit? It's way too long for a race.

Monopoli: I'm aware how active you are (were?) on high speed halo. As I said before, my biggest reservation is good commentary for this game.

lilbrorsan:

1. I really don't know much about this game.

2. Ditto.

3. Again, we'll have to see if this is a race or just see whoever is best will play this.

4. Franchise games tend not to be very popular at marathons (unless if it's a well done one), and the length would be too long for AwfulGDQ.

5. I just played through this game and love it, but the problem is that this game is really new and hasn't built up an audience yet. I think it's worth considering for a future gdq.

UA:

1. Definitely a classic game worth doing for a marathon.

2. Maybe not as classic as Deus Ex, but definitely well-respected among pc classics.

3. Eh it's too new to see whether this game will get an audience or not, maybe for a future GDQ.

4. The problem is that there are a lot of Mega Man specialists out there who play just Mega Man games (or even just one or two games in the series), like Checkers and co. and you're definitely good at games, UA, but these guys have just practiced a lot more at Mega Man games. FWIW, the record for MM5 is sub-37, IIRC. I can put you down for this game for now, but don't be surprised if one of the specialists offers.

5. This is a great hack, but we're having a lot of main series games being offered (including X and Zero series too), and I'd rather prioritize those games.

TaylorTotFTW:

Bikini Bottom: I really don't think Spongebob extends to a speedrunning audience.

Future Perfect: We had this at the last AGDQ and while it's a good game, it didn't get a ton of response.

OoT wrong warp: Again, not sure about this category when we have others on board.

NewAgeRetroHippie: I know some DKC runners would rather run any%, but either category would be good considering how much progress has been made in this game recently. Adding it to the list.

1. F-Zero X (Master GP) [Estimate 50:00] F-Zero X is one of the most technical fast paced action filled racers out there and I love it. I’ve been competing in it for over 10 years and my run at ESA was well received. Also, would love to race CGN as he’s made great progress so should be quite close!

2. F-Zero X Expansion (Master GP) [Estimate 25:00] I plan to do the 2 F-Zero X Expansion cups as well as the tracks are made for expert players and should be a great watch. Cushioned estimate is 25 minutes extra on top of normal GP. Can also be a donation incentive.

Donation incentive for custom tracks was a success at ESA so maybe something to think about.

3. Shadow Man any% glitch [45:00] Shadow Man is a really well made action adventure mixed between Zelda and Tomb Raider with a very original dark story. That is of course completely destroyed in this run with massive tricks and sequence breaks to skip almost everything to make this interesting to watch even if you don’t know it.

Hello friends c: Twitch channel - http://twitch.tv/0xa101

I only have one really small thing to offer:

Chrono Trigger (New Game+) [Estimate: 0:08:00] - This category goes from the beginning of the game straight to the final boss. I think this would work as a donation incentive and I could run it after obdajr does his CT run. It's very short, but very fast-paced and there's a lot to talk about in the run regarding certain glitches and RNG. My PB is 6:44, WR is 6:42.
Go Faster!
Well, here I go!

All estimates include plenty of extra time for setup

1. Magical Pop'n (SNES) (Any%) [Estimate 35:00] - Cute platformer with lots of enemy manipulation and some cool tricks, it got hyped up pretty well at #SMW last year, besides who doesn't love Hathide.gif?

2. Youyou Kengeki Musou (PC) (Any%) [Estimate 20:00] - Fast paced touhou platformer in the style of a YS game, has lots of skips and little movement tricks and has some decent looking boss battles against popular Touhou characters.

3. Rokko Chan (PC) (Any%) [Estimate 26:00] - What if Megaman was a girl? But seriously, Rokko Chan is fast paced Megaman flash game with an X style dash, plenty of swag and a solid Japanese running community (World record is currently 20:55 by Hotarubi)

4. Marisa and Alice's Trap Tower! (PC) (Floor 8 100%) [Estimate 45:00] - Co-op with Krimmydoodle, our obligatory Touhou suggestion.  We promise to show off the co-op'n'est game since Goof Troop with this puzzle platformer.
Sonic 2:  I just did a run today, bad by my standards, and came in under estimate.  This is probably my best game ATM.
NSMB DS:  Yeah, I would have offered warpless, but I haven't had a chance to work on that yet.  For the future maybe. Smiley
MK Wii:  I know the strats Uchiha used in his run on the site already, and the shortcuts wouldn't add that much difficulty - being trolled by blue shells and the like is by FAR my biggest worry.  Especially with only Sonic 2 to practice for besides this I could easily get it down.

Tobari and the Night of the Curious Moon (PC) (any% Good Ending) [1:30] - A platformer with a Kirby-like ability system.  Uses a variety of abilities rather than abusing one, and has little tricks throughout.  Fits into a Kirby block or an Anime block.

All time estimates in H:MM:SS format.

Pokemon Red Vs. Blue Race (2:45:00): There will be many pokemon speedruners at the event so it would be easy to find another person to race with. This has many incentives as werster already mentioned as character name, nicknaming pokemon, rival nickname, ect. People enjoy watching races because the run will be completed no matter what, and with a Red Vs. Blue Race there are two different strats that go in to each so the viewers could see more then 1 way possible to run the game.

The Last Remnant Any%(6:50:00): This is an interesting run because NO ONE HAS RAN IT YET! I have been routeing this game for the past 4 months and i have completed routes of 100% and Any%. I would have to see what donation incentives I could come up with to put in the run but none have come to mind yet, a side note the reason the estimate is so long is because the amount of RNG in the game. Not many people know about this game even though it is a really awesome game and i think with this run we could get more people to run it.

I have another game but I have not finished the route for but could have it done by AGDQ which could be something for the bonus stream but I wont talk about that on here.(The gam
My stream http://www.twitch.tv/alexwanderson

I only speedrun 1 game, Goldeneye

Seing as agent was last minuted in at sgdq, I would like to run 00 agent

1. Goldeneye, 00 agent. (Hard mode)  - Estimate 1 Hour. My personal best in this category is about 41 minutes. I Ran 100% (all cheats) at agdq, it was nice to show off some other stages, but doing it again would just kind of make the run drag on a bit

2. Goldeneye agent 2.x  - Estimate 30 minutes. - This is highly dependant only on another eliter coming, who can run goldeneye. the idea behind this is 2 players control James Bond by using 1 controller each. The gameplay might get sloppy, even chaotic at times, but could lead to an entertaining run.

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm (PC) (4:00:00) As last year this estimate will come down by a little bit once I'm done planning out marathon safe strategies and don't have to allow for as many stupid mistakes. There has been a lot of anticipation for this in the Starcraft 2 community and got a huge boost after my video on SC2 speedruns was featured in the Heart of the Swarm launch party. Wings of Liberty was a massive success last year and Heart of the Swarm is a much better game in terms of speedrunning than Wings was.

Mark of the Ninja any% with major glitches (PC) (0:30:00) This is a game I've been running for over a year now and ran to some great success in Sandython last year. Thirty minutes is just for marathon safety as it's now approaching 20 minutes due to how exceedingly broken it is. This game has gathered quite a bit of attention and has gotten moderately popular. I can go out of bounds at any point in the game I want, fly at will, teleport, and skip entire levels.

Ace Combat 2 any% best ending (PS1) (0:50:00) I've really wanted to get an Ace Combat game in the marathon but frankly the modern ones just aren't marathon friendly. They're too long, timed missions are common, and generally just take several more hours than they would remain interesting. Ace Combat 2 is one of the early installments before they got fancy and it is straight up kill all the targets as fast as you can styled game. The controls are AWFUL and the game is not forgiving at all even on Easy difficulty. This is the most fast paced game I can put up for the series and isn't all that long.
One hand is enough.
I'm going all-in on one game here, probably foolish but here it goes.

Vanquish (Casual Difficulty with DLC) [Estimate: 2:00:00] -Very different from the AGDQ 2012 run in tactics and technique. Other than the voiced language bid war I can offer Soda%, in which I would hold a soda can in my right hand for the entire playthrough. A handcam would be ideal for this run since I do all of the controls one-handed in any case. Current PB/WR is 1:46:58 RTA: http://www.twitch.tv/halfcoordinated/c/2712797

1. Pokemon Puzzle Challenge (intense mode) [estimate 0:40:00]
. This is a fast paced puzzle game that requires quick thinking and planning. Intense mode shows off how difficult the game can get when you give the AI the power of regenerating health and the ability to completely fill up your screen on a whim. (PB is 21:13, 8 seconds off WR)

There can be a donation incentive for Pokemon choice (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile)

2. Shrek: Fairy Tale Freakdown [estimate 0:05:00] This game has the honor of being one of the worst fighting games ever produced. Terrible hit detection, bad enemy AI, and horrendous pixel art make it a must watch.

There can be a donation incentive for character choice (Shrek, Gingerbread Man, or Lord Farquaad).

Both games will also be run during the happy tails marathon.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (any% no oob 1:25:00 or 100% 2:00:00): Excellent Zelda game with tons of exciting moments like Rooster Skip. I'm probably the top player for this game at the moment.

2. Yoshi's Story (any% 20:00): Short, sweet, super fast-paced, HAPPY YOSHIS!

Dynamite Headdy (Gen) Estimate 50:00 - PB is 41:02. Platformer with a lot of varied and interesting boss fights and has a "jesus why are you fighting a giant baby head" factor which makes it cool to watch. Most of the tricks comes from boss quick kills and sometimes abusing the weird physics that the game has. It is pretty obscure, but I do think people who haven't seen it before would enjoy it. I should mention I made some minor improvements over Zyre's run so some sections are a bit more fast paced, 8-1 in particular is much faster.

Gunstar Heroes Expert (Gen) Estimate 55:00 - I haven't done any proper runs of this yet but I believe this does deserve a spot just because it's a fantastic game. If anyone with more experience wants to do it I'm more then willing to pass it to them. If not, I'm confident I can have this down to a consistent low 40.
Heres' my AGDQ offerings. I sort of pre-buffered my estimates out to be safe, the actual runs will be of course shorter. Yeah, I know, they're not amazing games, besides one which is already sorta taken but more on that below.

Twitch: www.twitch.tv/kamaria (might be changing at some point)

1. Mega Man (Zips) (Estimate: 25 minutes): Whoops, I know coolkid already offered this, but if you were willing to make it a race or something or if he can't make it otherwise, I'm also willing to run this. Otherwise don't worry about it.

2. Castlevania: The Adventure (Estimate: 25 minutes): An obvious Awful Games Done Quick candidate. There is nothing good about this game, but that's sort of the point. Despite how laggy the game is, the run is relatively short, and should still be entertaining with it's 'badness' especially with a good couch commentary team (Romscout, etc). Plus it would be somewhat cathartic for anyone who picked this up as a child and deemed it impossible to beat to watch the game get basically crushed with no deaths.  I know you don't like the Gameboy CVs but I swear this is a good idea, just trust me. Tongue

3. Monster Party (Estimate: 25 mnutes): Also probably Awful Games Done Quick fodder. I ran this for a smaller marathon last year. Should have entertainment value due to it's quirkyness and odd bosses. Three words: Fried Shrimp Boss.

1(and only) Suggestion : Give up, Robot (Estimate:10Min). A solidly entertaining game, and SRL Seasons classic, that is easy to set-up. The run is impressive to watch and can be fit anywhere.

EDIT: Donation Incentive : Play Hard Mode as well (Time Estimate 20 Minutes)
